Single-Nozzle Structural Foam Molding,
also known as Injection Foam, is similar to multi-nozzle structural foam.
Single-nozzle structural foam molding uses chemical blowing agent instead of nitrogen gas. This process can be used where proper filling can be achieved through one mold entrance point. Single-nozzle structural foam molding offers the same benefits as multi-nozzle structural foam molding, and is used on many medium to medium/large parts.
Processes:
• Straight Injection
• Gas Assisted
• Multi-Nozzle Structural Foam
• Multi-Nozzle Structural Web
• Single-Nozzle Structural Foam
• Gas Counter Pressure

Key Benefits
Allows thicker wall sections than straight injection.
Offers improved cycle time and cosmetics than structural multi-nozzle foam.
Part weight reduction due to foaming process.
