This KVM has worked great for me and switches fast, the hardest part was getting used to pushing a button on the remote instead of hitting the scroll lock key which is standard on many other KVM's. The only problem I had with it was the EDID wasn't being emulated once so far when it was turned on - the solution was to disable EDID and then re-enable it.

I have tried a few USB switches and KVM switches. This is the first one that is reliable that has a remote button. I use it to switch my keyboard and mouse from my work and personal computers. It also will switch the HDMI for both units; however, my monitor doesn't support high refresh rate on HDMI so I use display port for my personal rig. It isn't the KVM switches fault that I can't use HDMI for my gaming so I didn't deduct any points.

So I bought this KVM switch about a month ago so I could quickly and easily switch between my PS5 and PC without having to change a bunch of cords around and it’s been perfect so far. Only problem is the weight makes it hard to mount under a desk. I tried to mount it using 4 3m adhesive strips but it keeps falling down and it’s really annoying and I don’t have the desk space to put in on the top of the desk. I also have an ikea desk and not a wood one so I can’t really use anything that involves screwing it to the bottom. If anyone has any ideas on how to mount it please let me know.

As originally installed, the unit would occasionally (~5m) cause the screen to go black for 3-10 seconds. I tried changing a number of things and some of them would cause the blanking to stop for a while, but then it would come back. I finally changed my monitor resolution from 4K to HD and the problem stopped. Hasn't happened in two days of consistent use. The same unit sold by a different store (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D2TVXFM7/?coliid=I9SIS4WIVDEJX) has a note in the description that one should use HDMI cables
