Seems like a good value, but...... Carb runs just fine when the shutoff valve is closed so either the valve is bad or the choke stays open. The carb floods and can only be started by tilting it on its side to reset the needle which means it is sticking and or the seals are swollen. It runs, but I was planning on selling this mower. I can not sell it in this condition as to start it you have to tilt it untill gas spills out , set the mower down then start.. Very frustrating.

I've been using the new carb on my Craftsman (Honda motor) for the last three weeks. It has been a great performer. Started on the first pull on choke and always starts flawlessly once hot. No ajustements were needed to speed or idle.The major difference between this and the original is that the casting is made out of aluminum vs steel. The weight difference is important. I don't have any experience with aluminum carbs so time will tell if different contacting metals will corrode when subjected to ethanol fuel. That type of fuel certainly did corrode the original bowl last year which led me to need this new carb.Gaskets were a perfect fit. Finally, I haven't used the rest of the kit provided since I already had changed those parts previously. The parts all seem to be of good quality.I'm very happy with my purchase.
