Das Display hat grundsätzlich in meinen Jeep Compass 2018 gepasst. Allerdings wurde es defekt geliefert. Sehr ärgerlich, vor allem wenn man bedenkt, dass ich mich extra für ein teures Angebot mit internationalem Versand entschieden hatte, um genau solche Probleme zu vermeiden! Die Rückgabe war zum Glück kein Problem. Verbaut ist jetzt ein Display von Ebay für 2/3 des Preises, dass auf Anhieb funktionierte und nach 2 anstatt 12 Tagen Versandzeit ankam.

Hatte erst bedenken, aber Demontage des alten und Montage des neuen war echt einfach. Empfehlenswert ist nur Kunststoff Werkzeug, natürlich erhältlich bei unseren Freunden von Amazon, dann gibt es auch keine Macken im Kockpit. Vertragswerkstatt wollte 1500 Euro für den Wechsel haben. Das Geld kann man sich echt sparen. Trau Dich 😉

I purchased this replacement display for my 2018 Dodge Challenger SXT Plus. My old one had some delimitation which was causing “ghost touching”. It got to a point that I had to drive with my entire infotainment system off, because it was randomly making calls, turning on seat ventilation, and making the navigation map jump to random locations.The purchase price of a new unit would have been about $2,000.00 with a 3 week waiting period. I found replacing the display as a cheaper alternative.I actually tried to replace only the touch screen, but ran into difficulty installing it, due to the original unit having a heavy amount of adhesive keeping the touch screen binded to the underlying LCD (I actually inadvertently removed both the LCD and touch screen from my original display). I tend to be heavy handed with electronics.I ordered this unit as a replacement. It arrived within days, and I was able to install it much easier than trying to replace the touch screen alone. I actually mismanaged the installation and found there was an issue with the touch screen. I reached out to the seller, and once I provided a video with the issue I was facing, their technicians provided a response that fixed the issue (basically I just needed to push the installation ribbon in more). I have a fully operational infotainment system in my vehicle once again, and I couldn’t be more delighted. Thanks!
