Confirmed with Fore that this was the card I needed, but when I plug it in, it literally does nothing.

This does not appear to be actual Ford product, but MUCH cheaper and seems to work just fine.

Living in Phoenix and driving with a ten-year-old GPS doesn't work too well. Too many new streets and highways. Ford wanted something like $300 to update the factory radio/gps in our Explorer so we switched to using our phones. I saw this on Facebook and decided to give it a try. So far so good. Just took a minute to eject the existing chip and plug this into our 2014 Explorer. Seems to work fine. I'm excited to be able to use the in dash talking GPS again.

I used the upgrade for my 2014 Fusion SE. It had version A12 before the upgrade and applied the A15 upgrade with no issues. With engine off, eject the current map SD Card, insert the new (A15) SD Card and then start the car. It was that easy and worked flawlessly. I understand that this is the last map upgrade for SYNC-2. So happy to have the latest map update. I would recommend this seller and the A15 upgrade to others. Ford recommends using the latest version of SYNC so checking the level of SYNC on your vehicle is important. The instructions for the A15 upgrade indicate version 12285 or later. My level was 15xxx (don't remember the last 3 digits) - not the latest SYNC version but greater than 12285 minimum level. It worked great.
