Review of 4 Pairs Undermount Drawer Slides – 21 Inch Undermount Soft Close Drawer SlidesI recently had the pleasure of installing a set of four pairs of 21-inch undermount drawer slides, and I must say, they have completely transformed my cabinetry experience. Here are my thoughts on these soft-close drawer slides:Quality and BuildRight out of the box, the quality of these slides was impressive. They have a very heavy-duty feel, which is reassuring when considering the weight capacity of 100 lbs. The materials feel robust, and you can tell they are built to last. The finish is smooth, which not only enhances the aesthetic but also ensures that the slides operate smoothly.PerformanceThese undermount drawer slides work flawlessly. The soft-close feature is a game-changer. Not only does it prevent the annoying slamming of drawers, but it also adds an element of luxury and refinement to my overall cabinetry. I’ve tested the full extension capability, and I can confidently say that accessing the back of the drawer is now effortless.InstallationInstallation was surprisingly easy, even for someone with limited DIY experience. My recommendation is to spend the extra money on a better product.I ordered these because they looked decent in the pics and the price was good. I guess you get what you pay for. When they arrived almost half of the locking mechanisms were broke. The replacement order I received was the same way. I’m betting it’s the result of extremely cheap plastic, poorly designed component structure, or cheap packaging (which contained no padding/filler)…or all of the above.

1) These don’t extend as far as Blum. You lose about 0.75” of extension. Not a big deal for most, but noticeable.2) The metal gauge is thinner. If Blum is 100%, these are 75%.3) No rear adjustment4) Front latches are plastic, not metal5) Front latches only adjust up/down, not side-to-side (that tubular knob only does tilt adjustment)6) Slides don’t close as easily as Blum (if you give them a light push, they tend to stop mid-way)7) Soft close is not as good as Blum (if you slam them, they can't resist it as well)So overall I don’t know what to say – it comes down to price. If you’re renovating your kitchen, spending thousands of dollars, it’s probably not the place you want to save a hundred or two. Maybe they’re a good bargain if you’ve got a couple broken drawer slides, and are looking for replacements. Or they're going in a garage, or some area that doesn't get used much.Understand that these are probably a pain to install, and will take an hour+ per drawer, maybe a few hours, depending on your familiarity with cabinetry, tools, willingness to buy the Blum tools, figure out the measurements you need if your drawers are off-size….It’s doable, just a pain. I don’t understand how a handyman could profit installing these.I don’t know what price to put on these. Probably about 50-75% as good as Blum (and I kind of hate Blum, they’re a pain to install as well, and I wasn’t floored with the performance). You can always check out Hettich, Grass, whatever else is recommended.FWIW, the Blum rear locating holes worked with these. The front latch screw for me was @35.8mm from the outer wall of the drawer. The Blum setback depth worked. I used the Blum rear-install bracket locations as well. (You’ll probably have to figure out all of this on your own if you’re retrofitting your own old drawers).Physically they weigh about 2.3oz more than Blum, yet feel cheaper.I’d definitely spend the extra on drawers that I use every day, or multiple times/day. The generics are fine for others, assuming they last >15 yearsIn short:a) I got Blums. Thought they were alright, but not worth the priceb) I got these. I realized that Blums are actually pretty nice in comparison.c) Blums usually close pretty easily with a single finger push.d) These don’t close as nicely. They don’t usually close with a single finger push. Maybe they’d do better if you changed the grease to something else – it feels too tacky, and they’re probably over-greased. They also have the pull-close mechanism on both sides, whereas the Blum just have it on one side

How did I never try this before!!! I thought this would be difficult, because I did not understand it. This is the easiest way to build drawers. It does take up more space than side mount, so I guess horses for courses. These work really well and was super easy to install.

Product was delivered on time and in good packaging. It is made out of strong quality material and is exactly what I needed. The slider runs smoothly without any noise and the metal will not bend. It comes with the necessary hardware and easier to install compared to the other ones that I tried using before. Good quality product over all. Highly recommended.
