The 4X1 Quad MultiView Selector is a versatile device that allows you to view up to 4 HDMI sources on one screen in different modes, or switch to a full-screen view of one source. It has 4 HDMI input ports and 1 HDMI output port, letting you connect multiple devices to a single display without constantly unplugging cables. You can switch between devices easily with hotkeys or the included remote control. The device supports high-quality resolutions up to 4K and works with a wide range of HDMI devices like gaming consoles, Blu-ray players, and TVs. It’s also compatible with various display setups, including monitors and projectors.

I like that you get the 5 different display modes which allows me to view the feeds in different configurations. I was hoping that the feed from my computer would be crisp enough to use as a working display but at 1080p, the text is not very clear and 4k @ 30hz was too distracting with the lag/stutters. I think higher refresh rates would have been fantastic. That being said playing videos from my computer… it was great.Overall, I think it’s very well-designed with good build quality and a very affordable consumer KVM switch for viewing multiple video feeds. The quality of the image is perfect with no degradation, switching between feeds shows no black screen flashing, and the remote is very convenient.

Great machine to use as a 4 input KVM.If you want to use the 4K to display 4x1080 signals, it's okay for monitoring, but if you planned to use it to control keyboard and mouse , in 4k mode it's just too laggy to be usable. But in 1080 mode , there's no noticable latency. One minor annoyance it that when you switch devices, there's On screen display that shows for about 10 seconds. Unfortunatly it lands exactly where the menu of most windows application is.But overall , great KVM for a good price, and if you plan to only monitor multiples sources and not control them All the multiview layouts are great !

This switch works exactly as described. The remote is a nice feature as well. You will need to provide 2 AAA batteries to use it, but you can do everything from the unit itself anyway. There are four USB cables that come with it that you can use to connect to 4 computers for sharing the keyboard/mouse etc. There's also a USB cord to connect to the provided power adapter. The switch is designed to be mounted but you don't have to do that if you don't want to. When in use, the switch displays the old TV multicolored bars on each display that is not connected.I do wish there were some more configurable options, but this is quite amazing as it is. I think I need to get myself a bigger TV in order to take full use of this.Comes With:- switch- remote (2 AAA batteries not included)- four USB-C cables- one USB power cord with power adapter- instructionsPros:- works perfectly out of the box- lots of different options- comes with remoteCons:- some more display configurations would be nice

1) a) Just to confirm, the maximum resolution and refresh rate is 4K at 30 Hz.1) b) The actual resolution choices for 4K is 4096 x 2160 and 3840 x 2160.1) c) For some reason, when I choose 3840 x 2160 or 1920 x 1080 there will be 2 vertical black bars (1 on each side of the monitor). When I choose these resolutions when not using this KVM switch then the screen will be fine and at full screen (there are no black bars).1) d) At 1920 x 1080, the maximum refresh rate is 60 Hz.1) e) There is no option for 1440p for some reason.2) This is not a normal KVM switch. This KVM switch can display all 4 inputs at the same time. This is the default setting. You have to press a button to go full screen on one of the inputs.3) There is a button that is labelled "1080P/4K". Pressing this button doesn't seem to do anything.4) a) While having all 4 inputs displayed, it doesn't seem like I can change the KVM switch to have my keyboard and mouse control one of the inputs.4) b) For example, say I want to click on something on input 3. I am not able to get the USB ports to allow the mouse/keyboard to function only for input 3 (while having all 4 inputs displayed).4) c) There could be a way but the instructions are not clear and doesn't really explain what each button does.5) The KVM switch can be powered by a USB-C charger (using a USB-C to USB-C cable). A USB-A to USB-C cable and a USB-A charger are included.6) I used a Logitech dongle for my Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard. I plugged the dongle into the "keyboard" USB port.7) a) 4 of the USB-A to USB-C cables are 4' 7" long and the other one is only 2' 5" long.7) b) Each cable is way too short. You're probably going to have to buy your own cables. To me, 5' to 10' cables would have been more reasonable.7) c) To power the KVM switch, you would probably be plugged in the charger at least 4' away. Then you might want to do some cable management and have the cable taped to the wall.I can recommend this KVM switch if you need something like this. Personally, the odd resolution is a deal breaker to me. Also, for this price, it would have been nice if the maximum refresh rate at 4K were 60 Hz.

This switch allows you to view multiple devices on the same monitor. It also has a really obvious plug-in for the keyboard and a mouse. I like that it was easy to set up and that it is well labeled. I also like that there are clear buttons that allow you to toggle between one and the other. I am not sure how much I will use the remote control, but I’m sure it would be valuable to someone. Overall, this is a good product
