I ordered these to replace existing, worn-out locks on our vinyl windows. The quality of this product is great and they function well. The product is identical in size to the originals so replacement was easy with no additional holes needed. The screws in the kit were a bit smaller than the originals, however; I opted to reuse the originals for best fit, and although longer, would not damage the embedded glass pane.This 4-pack worked well to replace a single lock on a small window, and top and bottom locks on a larger window. The lever-lock direction on the replacements is opposite the originals, so I'll need to be mindful to swing the new levers upwards instead of downwards to lock up.This style of window lock is commonly mounted to the framework on sliding windows, and is an affordable way to enhance or maintain the security of your home.
