The stereo is advertised as Android 13 and having 4 gigs of RAM, but using CPU-Z you will find that it only has 1.5GB of RAM and its is Android 8.1 disguised as Android 13. The seller had given me a firmware update due to some issues and after that it was displaying 2GB of RAM which is still fake. They run a line of code to make this make specs appear. The tablet is okay and very sluggish and most things take forever to load. Never buying again from these scam companies. Better to invest in something from Crutchfield.

This car stereo kit is definitely one of the better ones out there. I have seen a few complaints that the screen might freeze or lag every once in a while but these are very rare occurrences with regular use and not unexpected. Overall the user experience is smooth and having 4GB of ram helps to move things along quickly.But let's talk about the upgrade. This kit includes everything you need to replace your old stereo with a 10.4 inch smart screen that actually does look like what you get in a Tesla. It's so cool that you even get heater + air conditioner controls on the screen!CarPlay and Android auto both work well, and for me I just need the phone working + Waze to work properly and they do.This is a project that can be done at home in the garage, there are many YouTube videos to watch in preparation of the installation, but overall it's a task of removing the old stereo + trim and installing the new screen + trim.Last two items I will note is that the sound quality is equal to, or better than the original stereo and that the reverse camera function also works really well. The value in this upgrade kit is exceptional and a must have upgrade for the Chevy Cruz.

Car graphic doesn't change, swc nearly blew up speakers when I attempted to learn the buttons which you have to manually wire. Wasn't able to make that work, usb charges but doesn't work to connect to it.wireless andriod auto constantly shows a blank screen and struggles to connect. No actual built in navigation apps not sure why it has a GPS ant. No independent sub woof control. The vehicle side options don't work... Not sure it's a good match for the oem pioneer system. Probably returning.

Been using it almost a week and works great with the exceptions of it not being able to connect to my phones hot spot so I need to sit in my laneway for the house wifi to update anything. And the internal mic isn’t good at all. People can not hear me on phone calls and the external mic it came with has nowhere to plug it into the stereo?Smaller issue is the car image on the home screen appears to have no way to change it even though there are about 100 pictures of different cars in the stereos memory

So far its been pretty good, I have had it installed for a few weeks and i love the large display i wanted it primarily for car play features and the backup camera. Don't expect to do anything more with it, the processing power is not enough to do any more. Touch response lags at times and it has crashed twice so far after the screen went static. after 5 minutes it rebooted and continued working normally.the instructions were lacking and installation was rather confusing with all the extra cables and lack of instruction on where they go or what they are for.I wish someone would come out with a model that has a better base computer unit that can actually handle all the things this should be capable of

Firstly, I did not install this myself. I paid my mechanic, and am glad I did. I'm not great with car stuff over topping up windshield fluid.I bought this because I wanted a back up camera on my car and thought it looked cool.The tablet did change the language on my dash to chinese, but there's a function on one of the apps to change it back to english (car controls or something)The tablet is android and links to my Google account. It comes with YouTube, but I used the play store to install YouTube Music.I have a samsung s23 and the tablet connects to my hotspot everytime, but there's option to create a hotspot by plugging your phone into the usb cord.It looks really neat, like any screen it shows some glare and fingerprints.I use my car for work and my clients absolutely love it.We have had some issues with the Bluetooth not playing music from client's phones, which is not a big deal since we have YT Music. There also doesn't seem to be a way to customize the home screen or change the app for music player shortcut.Tbh, I wasn't expecting much more than a backup cam and novelty experience, but this thing seems to be pretty rad.
