This is a great carburetor kit. I just bought a cheap murray select mower that had been sitting for years. The original carburetor was filled with junk. It leaked, coughed, sputtered, backfired, and leaked raw fuel, it wouldn't stay running for more than a few seconds.This kit fixed ALL of those problems and now it runs GREAT!Easy to install, comes with clamps, shut off valve (turn that fuel off and run the carb dry, it'll last forever!!!), hose clamps, air filter (fitment was perfect!), and even a spark plug. Perfect tune up kit for a rough running briggs motor!I had the 28R707 13.5HP motor.

Works great for old 12 hp riding mower. Came with fuel shut off and new filter. Even a spark plug. Hooked up. And fired right up. Had to trim a piece of plastic on it that was hitting the throttle slide but wasn’t an issue.

Le remplacement fut facile. Les joints sont étanches. Par contre, les bras des mécanismes du nouveau carburateur ne sont pas en métal. J’ignore si lors d’un fonctionnement prolongé, ceux-ci résisteront bien à la chaleur.

I had to replace the Carburetor on my wood splitter due to excessive corrosion. Even thought it is a little different than the old on every thing together well and is working very well.

I've ordered 2 of these carburetors, one for a 12.5 hp and a 13hp briggs and stratton engine. These went on a Snapper RER mid 90s model. Both carburetors went on just like oem. Fit and finish was great. I had to trim about an 1/8" of plastic where the air cleaner housing bolted to carburetor. Easy trim with a razor knife. Turned gas valve on and let it sit for about 5 mins to fill up new line and bowl. Engine started up almost immediately. Idle was set dead on.Very happy with this set-up
