My little nephew is autistic. We bought these to help him write. I gotta be honest it was perfect. It definitely helped him have more control over the pencil altogether great.

We really liked these grips. They take a couple of tries to get the fingers all in the right position, but once you do, using them comes naturally. They're the right size for our 3 year old, but would be equally appropriate for perhaps up to 6 or 7 years of age. There is no smell to them (thankfully!). The silicone is soft and pliable. The pastels are appealing. We saved one for a pencil or pen, and put the other 5 on our most used crayons. We love them!
