I bought their lower model kvm switch first thinking it would support 1440p at 144hz. it would do just fine at 100hz. but as soon as you would up it to 144hz the screens would start to flicker. so i bought better cables that were 2.1 DP. This did not fix the issue. Then i bought this version since it was advertised to handle 4k at 144hz. No, you cannot handle 1440p at 144hz I wouldn't even try 4k. I am returning both KVMs and will be seeking alternate products.

I do not use 3 monitors for this, only two.Our living room has a big projector and a monitor on the side. We also have two computers: a laptop for streaming, and a home server mini PC.We had dedicated peripherals for each PC and used the monitor for the mini PC and the laptop screen for the laptop. While this works perfectly fine, it would be nice to be able to have a single set of peripherals and just swap between devices on the fly... sound familiar?Anyways, this boy is quite bulky so we used nano-tape to stick it under a table and keep it out of sight. The controller is on the top of the table and the laptop is neatly closed and out of sight (only opened whenever the PC shuts down, but then immediately closed afterward.)Switching has a few second delay, approx. 4 seconds. No issues with power on the USB ports or a monitor not getting signal. In other words, a good KVM.

Prior to trying this 4 port KVM, I had purchased one that cost 3x more in hopes that it would be mean better quality. This KVM outperforms that other - supposedly superior KVM - by a mile.It was a simple, straightforward install with 2 Windows Laptops (ThinkPad + Dell XPS) + 1 MacBook Pro M1 Max. I can switch between all 3 seamlessly with about a ~2-3 second delay. I use docking stations, and this KVM had no issues working with them. My keyboard, mouse, webcam, and Bluetooth audio (via USB dongle) can work with all 3 laptops at the click of a button. Also HUGE plus, no "Too many USB hubs are connected together. A USB hub will not function when it's connected more than 5 hubs away from the root port" errors ... between the docking station, keyboard built-in USB hub, and etc... This had previously caused me issues with the more expensive KVM.I saw some people complaining that you had to purchase DisplayPort cables separately ... honestly, not that big a deal when the KVM does what it's supposed to. I've only used it for a 4 days prior to writing this review, so hopefully it will continue to work well in the months and years to come.

This KVM is excellent with a couple of small niggling issues. I run 3 4k resolution monitors and use this KVM to switch between a work PC and my home PC. This KVM is a replacement for my ConnectPro UDP2-12AP which has problems with screens blanking out intermittently.- I have high-quality cables, and the connectors are fat enough that plugging them in was a problem. They are force slightly apart which puts pressure on the connectors. an extra 1mm of gap between the DPDK sockets would have been enough to make top quality cables work well.- Under some conditions, switching between PCs causes the windows to all move to one screen, and occasionally for all windows to be reduced in size and placed in the top left corner. Since I generally have a lot of windows open, this can be annoying.

It was basically plug and play and I was actually surprised just how well it worked. My setup is not that straight forward so I was not 100% confident that it would actually work. I have 2013 27 inch iMac as my home computer and a Lenovo Thinkpad for work. And also have an Apple LED monitor that I wanted to share between the two computers. The Apple monitor has mini display port and USB cable that I plugged into the KVM. Had to use a mini DP to DP adaptor for the Apple Monitor. Then for the Mac I used the supplied USB cable plus a mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable into the KVM. For the Thinkpad I used the supplied USB cable plus a regular DisplayPort cable. And it all just works. Only installed it today and so will come back later for a long term review.

Two major gripes:1. bank C of DP didn't work. So its a 4x2 DP for me.2. the DP ports are very close together, and full size latched DP cables (eg. Club3D) will be too big to plug in next to each other.I wish the USB inputs were on the back as well for cable management.I was going to return this, but got another super cheap 2x2 DP KVM for my secondary 2 monitors which don't need to switch between all machines. All in I'm at like $150 of KVM and my setup is now working. Still cheaper than a Level1 4x4 KVM.

I am in no way a techy person however I do have a job where I work in two separate departments meaning I need to work from separate laptops on separate monitors. With this, I am able to switch between with ease and have the ability to utilize all of my working time.Again, I am no way techy nor do I have vast knowledge when it comes to the more complicated processes of this product however as a consumer, I can say that this product is very well made and thought out. It is not too big and bulky, it isn't and eye and getting everything set up was quick and easy. It is very user friendly.
