Straps work fine, and it's a great value. However, regarding the length: If you include the .5" plastic tab at the end of the strap, it's 12". But that tab has no function, except to display the manufacturer's name. So the functional part of the strap is only 11.5". I sure could have used the extra .5" if it were there.

What I love about the wrap is that it will fit around any small items and tighten to need! As a securing wrap it works great on my bikes so that the pump doesn't get bumped off the frame when riding on bad surfaces, and when I hang the bikes up on their racks these wraps are great for securing the front wheel against the frame for easy lift and remove/replace. A neat and practical solution for many household uses.

Well, these are the cats meow! I have been using these for many years for many different purposes. Pretty much indispensable when you need to strap/tie things. They are durable and put up with a lot of use/abuse.
