Ok so like you I was curious and intrigued by the thought of a cheap amp that fits in the palm of your hand that can pump out clean sound at loud volumes. I watched the YouTube reviews and thought that they had to be BS’g. So I took a chance and bought this amp which was similar to the hyped up Fosi V3 but comes with a bigger power supply (Same chipset and internals as the Fosi). To preface I have owned and listened to the following amps in the past, Yamaha A-S501, Cambridge CXA60, Yamaha AX497, Cambridge AXA25, and currently own an Audiolab 6000a play. I was expecting the Ayima to sound like a toy but was surprised at the sound quality and power delivery this little thing produced. The truth is it’s not better than any of the amps I have owned in the past or currently own but it’s not far off either and costs only a fraction of the price. In a world where HiFi has become far too expensive for many to enter the hobby this little metal box stands out. This is a good entry point for anyone looking to get into the hifi hobby till they can afford to step up into something higher end. No real complaints on the sound, highs are clear, bass is tight and punchy, mids are slightly lacking but that’s typical for a class D amp and you can always eq that if your streaming within your streaming app. 1 caveat I did notice sparks plugging the power supply brick which led me to inquire about the safety markings on the power brick. Please note there are no CSA or UL markings on the power brick. This is definitely a problem and potentially fire safety risk. For this reason I’ll be sending it back.

This review is for 2 of the AIYIMA A07 MAX 2 using as mono blocks, these little amps far exceeded my expectations, I also purchased 2 of the Fosi Audio 48v5a power supplies to add a little more punch, let me start by saying the amps are rated at 600w each in mono at 2ohms, this is misleading at least if they're meaning 600w RMS they are not but they are powerful enough to drive a set of electrostatic speakers clearly and cleanly with an amazing amount of detail, this amount of detail is completely unheard of at this price, the bass is very good also and not bloated, at this price you can't go wrong for a set of mono blocks that have an amazing open a clean soundstage, I recommend these little guys 100%, just buy them and you will see what I mean.

First off, I'm not new to hifi systems and their various components. I have been playing around with it for almost 40 years and have owned dozens of systems. I wouldn't exactly call myself an audiophile either as I firmly believe you don't need to spend 10's of thousands of dollars to enjoy good sound. As far as these mini amplifiers go they are getting better very quickly as the market has become very fond of their price point. The first A07 was well received and continues to be a solid performer. Then came the A07 pro with treble and bass controls, not bad, but I actually still preferred the original. Now with the release of the A07 Max Aiyima has hit the ball out of the park. I have connected it to several different sets of speakers from bookshelf's to towers and the outcome was always pleasing. I listen to most genres of music, and the A07 Max certainly brings out the best in my speakers. Clarity, imaging, non fatiguing, and bass that is sharp and not muddied. I would say it has a fairly neutral sound signature. Also it doesn't overheat at all which is an issue I had with the PRO. Of course like any amplifier, you should have a good source. My current chain today is a wiim pro - SMSL DO300 - A07 Max , i also ran it with a wiim mini - SMSL D0100 and a 1Mii Lavaudio dac. All chains performed very well, and I would recommend any one of them with a speaker of your choosing.

When I first unpacked it, I was a little surprised by its diminutive size, but quickly discovered that I needn't worry, this amp was powerful!This is my second Class-D amplifier, and I was well impressed. I had no issues powering my Kef Coda bookshelf speakers, or my much newer Klipsch R-51M Bookshelf Speakers. The latter sounded amazing across the range of music I have, from classical to rock and everyday pop. It was clean, incredibly quiet and had the oomph to excel when necessary.The power supply that comes with the amp is a DC36V 6A adapter, supplying about 200W total. If you want to get closer to 300W per channel, you need to get a bigger power supply, the 48V 10A power supply for example, or even a larger adapter that can deliver 600W. If you need that much per channel, get a second amp, and run them in mono (monoblock) mode!This amp is the ideal companion to a streamer or turntable with line out or phono preamp. This is a great little product and amazing value for money!

At this price point I want expecting much and I was very pleasantly surprised. I'm using a Wiim Mini streaming Tidal paired with Wharfdale diamond 9.1 speakers. The sound is accurate and clear. Bass is decent and it can fill a small room. It's a smart uncomplicated little box with solid banana connections for the speakers and a simple on off volume. Love it.

Le Aiyima A07 MAX est le dernier né des amplis à base de puce TPA3255 qui sont dernièrement très à la mode en raison de leur rapport puissance prix très favorable.Le A07 MAX est simple mais bien conçu, il dispose de gros borniers permettant de passer du câble d’enceinte de bon diamètre ou alors encore plus pratique, des fiches bananes.Il ne dispose que d’une entrée RCA simple, il vous faudra donc idéalement ajouter un DAC pour le brancher directement sur votre ordinateur et ainsi bénéficier de ses grandes qualités.L’installation est très simple, il est doté d’un bloc d’alimentation de 36 volts.Il peut également être équipé de blocs plus costauds jusqu’à 48 volts pour une puissance supplémentaire au prix d’un dégagement de chaleur plus élevé.L’ampli est à ce niveau bien conçu car équipé de petits trous permettant une meilleure dissipation de la chaleur. En utilisation et avec l’alimentation de 36 volts, l’amplificateur reste tiède.Il dispose également d’une line-out en mini-jack pour y relier un caisson de grave actif.L’allumage de l’ampli se fait par rotation d’un gros potentiomètre en façade, rien de plus simple.Détail intéressant pour les plus techniciens d’entre nous les op-amps sont remplaçables selon le désir de l’utilisateur, un détail sympathique pour les puristes.En l’état le son qui sort de cet amplificateur est remarquable, avec un rendu des percussions que je n’avais jusque-là jamais entendu sur aucun amplificateur chinois, les impacts sont époustouflants et transfigurent les enregistrements.La puissance développée par l’amplificateur est suffisante pour la plupart des enceintes et impressionnante par rapport à la taille minuscule de l’appareil.Un très bon appareil.
