Governor hook was damaged when arrived. Made of plastic. Was not able to try. Other parts work well. Hose should have been thicker in diameter but will do. Other parts great addition for complete lawnmower protection.

This carburetor is a perfect fit for my eight year old lawnmower (Original Briggs and Stratton Carburetor Identification #6150). The Lawnmower had not been started for about three years and the carburetor was in need of cleaning and repair, however, it is easier, and less expensive, to buy a new carburetor. After replacing the carburetor and the gas line (the one provided with the carburator kit was way too small in diameter to fit either to gasoline tank or the carburetor) the lawnmower started on the first pull.

This unit does not have the primer circuit that the OEM Briggs & Stratton carburetor has.Simply put - this DOES NOT fit on a 2002 model year Briggs & Stratton 6 HP - rope pull start OHV engine with primer bulb starting. Engine model number: 120602-0164 E1 / for self-propelled walk behind 21-inch mulching mower.I replaced the worn-out carburetor with a Briggs & Stratton made carburetor. The throttle plate shaft has egged out the carburetor body causing the engine to run lean after 287.6 hours of runtime.
