It's the best entry level processor you can buy right now. At 7000rs it provides a ridiculous price to performance value.6c processor is the perfect sweet spot for entry/mid level gaming. Pair it up with any GPU under 3060Ti and it will make an amazing gaming pc.

I have always been an AMD user since they first came out with the Slocket. Way back. The original AMD Slot based CPU's. I bought this for my daughter who wanted a new PC, and this CPU works flawlessly. Its fast, efficient and she can do her work or online games she likes. Great buy and a great price. I wanted to save some money so this AM4 CPU was best bang for the buck. SO it saved me hundreds not having to buy a Ryzen 7 or 9 which would be a waste for her. Excellent product. My last 10 pc's I have built have been AMD exclusively. I swapped from intel way back and never looked back.

This is one of the best budget CPUs out there. For $100, you cannot go wrong. This is great for budget builds. Although keep in mind that other CPUs like the 5600 are strictly better in terms of performance.

Great Product, totally changed my pc build from barely being able to play fortnite, to being able to play games like Delta Force, smoothly without overclocking.Amazing buy for anyone wanting to spend less then $600 on a processor, just remember to check your bios version, i had to update my bios before it would work on my Assus A320-m Rev 2.0 motherboard.

Surprisingly powerful little CPU. Rated for up to 4.2 GHz, but using the Ryzen Master software's curve optimizer, I get about 4.4 GHz at 70-75 degrees Celsius with the stock cooler and thermal paste.Couldn't be any happier with such a budget friendly purchase. Good enough to get 144 FPS in many games when paired with my 12GB RTX 3060. If you're on a budget it's a great pick. With no 5600s in stock when I made the purchase, I have no regrets.Installation is incredibly easy, a quick video search can teach you to install a processor on your specific motherboard if you're unsure. If you can afford the extra 70-ish CAD to spring for the 5600 or 5600x you definitely should, but if buying cheaper get's your PC off the ground sooner I think this is an excellent choice.Great work from AMD as always in the budget range CPUs!

As title said amd is just better in almost all cases. From overheating on intel i7 I had Same fan pretty much and this just let's me use more cpu power without overheating the chip as intel is know to knot be consistent with frequency spurts. Can't recommend enough of course unless getting amd ryzen 7 but the price you can't beat it. If your on a budget don't think twice on it. And comes with its own fan.

Build a nice computer for less then a 1000$ ca that still kicks aside my old computer that I build 12 years ago at the price of 2500$Take note, the price mention above for the new computer is with AMAZON specials at the moment of purchase. (November 2024)Now, like I was saying for much less then a 1000$ using those componentsMotherboard ASUS Prime B550 plus.Power supply Thermaltake Smart BX1 750W Bronze SLI/Crossfire Ready.RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 X 16) at 3200mhzCORSAIR 3000D Airflow Mid-Tower PC Case – 2X SP120 Elite Fans – Four-Slot GPU Support.Processor AMD Ryzen 5 5500 6-Core, 12-Thread Unlocked FAN included.May have to chip around 50$ for a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card if you don’t have it already.Kingston 480 gb SSD.Graphic card GeForce GTX 1650 4gbLicence for Win 11 PRO, shop and find at different price, you only need a Digital license to make this machine work fine. Mine costed 125$ ca.This kit support without any problem Win 11 24H2 latest release almost a plug and play. (Installed it on the 22 Nov 2024 and never seen that before not one issue.)I'm not a hardcore gamer but I love my dead island, day light, etc... level of games and yes that system will support those and maybe more demanding games (Do your DD to find out, like I said I'm a mild gamer) no problem even projected on a 10 feet X 5 feet wall. So, my goal was to try at best not to invest my saving and have a nice machine that is functional for what I need, and not to flex (Look at me I got a machine that goes around Jupiter and back but it costed me 5000$) LOLYou could also overclock that system with a little bit of knowledge, and the bios readiness unlock the RAM which is set to nominal 2133 or so to full values (Mine are 3200 MHz) at a click away, Rams have a build in profile to facilitate its full profile. And do not forget that you have room for expending for a bigger graphic card, RAM and a bit more room for the processor then what I used.So this was my quest on AMAZON to get something more recent then the Asus P8Z77- deluxe (2012) which is still fine but does not support win 11 due to TPM and for the hardcore gamers Steam do not support any longer the win 7, 8, 8.1 and it is just a question of time before win 10 will no longer be supported by Steam.Yes, I forgot, I can install win 11 on the Asus P8Z77 deluxe (2012) with the removal of the TPM notification but at the long run it keeps bugging more often then I care for, so, for all my software that I have for editing video, creating music etc..... Win 7 on this Asus P8Z77 deluxe works fine, and I know that win 10 will support my old system, so I will experiment more on the subject. In conclusion I got something that kick for less then 1000$ ca and I build it my self from A to Z without any problem (Plug and play I would say) and will last some years without having to cash out money left and right.Keep searching there are nice specials on AMAZON.hope this help a bitDen.
