Der Schalter an sich ist gut verarbeitet. Nach etwas mehr als einem Jahr hat der Schalter von jetzt auf gleich Übergangsprobleme wodurch die Solaranlage sich abgeschaltet hat.

Overall nice pieceOverall this was a quality piece with one issue - the enclosure bolts are too long and stick out the bottom of the mount - this requires you to make 1/4" deep holes in your mounted surface for them to clear, which may not be possible for some. With such a fine thread you'd have a heck of a time trying to shorten these bolts. The receiving nylon lock nuts are nice, but they fit in their position very loosely, so you have to find a way to balance 4 of them in the mount plate while trying to mount it while hoping none of them fall out - prepare to drop some and make several attempts. Not sure why they didn't just make the hole in the plastic mount smaller for a nice friction fit.The instructions/specs sheet that comes with the product says it's rated for 600Amps continuous, yet the listing says 300A. Not sure why the discrepancy, but I've only tested it to 200Amps and the heat created seemed reasonable but it's getting up there. Not sure if it could do 600 without melting down, but....

I’m using these for a solar disconnect but I suppose there are lots of uses. Shipped fast and pretty solid build on these for the price range. Decent budget disconnect/lockout. Peace

I bought this to prevent small current drains from killing the battery on my 25ft travel trailer while it was in storage. Much easier than disconnecting a battery lead each time!The switch is a good, heavy duty design. I wanted to mount it so that I could shut off the battery power from the outside of the battery box. I didn't know if the supplied mounting screws would be long enough. Happily they are. I have a group 27 battery box with a group 24 battery. There was easily enough room to fit the switch inside the box and still fit the battery. The switch fit perfectly through a 2" hole and the supplied screws were long enough to secure it. I used 4 stainless steel washers from the local hardware store to complete the installation. A bead of silicon secured the back cover of the switch to make a nice, waterproof installation.One safety note. If using this on a trailer, it should be in the "off" position ONLY when the trailer is being stored! If you attempt to tow the trailer with it "off" position, two bad things can happen:1. Your tow vehicle can't charge your trailer battery.2. In the event of a trailer separation, the trailer brakes will not come on.

Arrived quickly. Installed on side of the single plastic Battery Box (using negative wire). Install was fairly easy, biggest time was lining up drilling the holes into the plastic box. I also removed the battery from the box so it would be easier to put in the screws and tighten the provided nuts properly. Easy to attach the negative wire . You will need to purchase another cable to run from the cutoff switch the the actual battery. Had no issues, worked first time. Great to have this for storage purposes and just in general so you can entirely shut off the electrical and avoid battery drain. Remember to turn on when hooked up and traveling, otherwise trailer lights, electric brakes, and charging the battery while driving will not take place.
