Best upgrade you can do for your civic. Installation is easier than you might think. There are 3 screws to undo in the entire installation, and there are several videos online to help! The rest is just clips. Don’t be afraid to tug on the dashboard panels when removing them! Likely you can get one of the clips out in the corners, and then you can get your hand under to pull the rest of the piece out.The screen is beautiful, plenty bright even in direct sunlight! It really looks like the car came stock with the screen. Doesn’t look aftermarket at all, and makes the interior very modern looking! Don’t hesitate, this is the one. There are many screens that look identical or similar, but I chose this one based on reviews and price, and I have no complaints. The included backup camera is great too, a bit more difficult and time consuming to install, involves some wire splicing to connect to the reverse light in the trunk, but if you have the tools and the time and patience, you can do it!

Everything has changed after I have installed this. I’m really happy now and the entire driving vibe has changed. Easy to see the maps and I’m using Siri to change the songs while I’m driving. Recommended product.

Really good value for the price. Bezel needed to be trimmed to fit the vent. I spent nearly two hours sorting out why the music blares at level 1. It turns out there is a master volume in the "factory" settings that needs a password to access. The password that worked for me was 000 000.

I truly can't overstate how much of an upgrade this is to a 2006-11 Civic. It is also really not hard to install, it just takes time and patience. Give yourself most of a day and make sure you have cable ties and electrical tape. Extra body clips also don't hurt as your likely to break at least one or two. Two very important tips: disconnect the battery before installing this as you could get an airbag fault and have to take it to the dealership to reset, also If you are using method one as I did to install the backup camera (see photos) DO NOT CONNECT THE RED WIRE AT THE BACK OF THE CAR TO ANYTHING! If you connect the red wire to the backup light it will blow the light and the camera will not work. Instead just connect the black wire to the negative wire for the backup light, leave the red wire disconnected and it works perfectly. There are videos on YouTube on how to install a backup camera in a Civic - I strongly recommend watching a couple. In short to wire this, route the GPS and microphone around the windshield by sliding them in-between the plastic cover and the window, then sneak the wire in the crack of the driver's side of the dash to hide them and then route them behind the dash to the CarPlay screen. The Mic should be in the center/top of the windshield, the GPS should be near the bottom of the windshield on the driver's side. For the backup cam, route the wire from the CarPlay screen, behind the dash on the driver's side and then push the wire underneath the plastic cowling to the backseat. You can then slide the wiring under the backseat and around to the trunk. Then just follow the wiring harness to the back tail light. To install the camera, pull off the plastic, chrome cowling on the middle/outside of the trunk lid by pressing the side of the little white plastic clips connecting it. There is also one bolt that you have to remove. Drill a hole in the trunk behind where the cowling goes and run the wire through. The camera can then be screwed right to the bottom center for the cowling and the wire comes in behind the cowling so you can't see it.Then just remove the vent fins, the hazard light, the climate controls, and the air bag light from the old dash and put them in the new dash. A couple small complaints here:- the offsets for the vent fins are too long. I used a Dremel to cut them down and they worked fine.- there is no hole for the airbag light (see photos), so I just tucked it under the dash. The device works great, very little lag for music, and you can pretty much do anything on it, even watch videos (great if waiting for kids). Don't sit on this, you'll be very happy.

Instructions were fair, could be better but we managed. The system needs to be grounded as there is alot of noise when using hands free. It integrates well with Apple Car Play.It is missing a hole for the passenger airbag indicator see in photo bottom left.
