I was constantly experiencing static shocks during the winter, and it became a real concern. Not only was it uncomfortable, but I also worried that the static buildup could potentially affect the sensitive systems I work with. After using this product, the issue has been completely resolved. The difference was noticeable right away—no more unexpected zaps, and I feel much more at ease knowing that static electricity is no longer a risk to my equipment. If you deal with frequent static buildup, especially in dry winter conditions, I highly recommend this as a reliable solution!

My old one was falling apart after 20 years so getting a new one was on tap. I am pleased with this unit, I was able to assemble my new computer with this on and had no issues throughout the build. It fit over my hands and I've had problems with others in the past because I'm a big 6' guy.

I loosened a screw on the handle of my treadmill added a short wire with a loop and clipped the alligator clip to it . Works great no more static shocks that would shut down the treadmill. The wrist band isn’t overly big but should work for most people. Decent price and it works.

I recently embarked on a fitness regime that involved purchasing a new treadmill. I was full of enthusiasm and ready to reach my goals. I assembled my treadmill and was good to go. That is until I was delivered massive shocks each time I tried to adjust the speed in any way and was limited to the presets at either 4 mph or 7 mph. Want to go faster? ZAP! Want to go slower? ZAP! Want to stop? ZAAAAAAP! I would be flinching in anticipation before touching the dial because the shock therapy was super effective in conditioning my fear. I tried placing the treadmill on a mat and selecting workout clothes/shoes that were supposed to reduce static build up to no effect. I was still getting annihilated every time I used the treadmill. Then I found this wristband. I attached the clip to a metal point on the treadmill and worked up the courage to give it a go. I nervously reached out to the dial and after a few long moments of mentally preparing myself for the pain of another massive shock, I grabbed it. To my great surprise, there was nothing. No jolt running up my fingers -- only pleasant nothingness. It was delightfully uneventful. It took me awhile to get over the shock programming before I could touch the dial with confidence, but now I have nothing preventing me from getting my cardio in.TLDR: This strap is hero.

Bought this because I didn't want to take any chances with static while building my first PC. No problems with the build so must've helped. Strap could be a little longer and clip could stay on surfaces a little better. Has a lifetime warranty and according to the packaging the company claims "We have been supporting you all the time." :)

I got this as i kept getting shocked while on my treadmill for typign on my laptop and even my keyboard. As long as you have a place to snap this into, it will help with you getting shocked. For the cost, this is a really effective product. That being said, I really wish that this was cordless, as I do like to have the freedom to not feel restricted. The clip can also come off my itself so you still need to be careful with the product. Finally because I have mine grounded to my desk, this will occasionally cause my monitor that I have plugged in to turn off on its own. For those that are using it for a computer I also don't see where you'd realistically put this if your servicing a computer if you're not accustomed to this product.

I have Horizon treadmill and this strap eliminated all static. It’s fairly comfortable and stays out of the way. I clipped it to a small metal tab under the side handlebar. I will report back on the durability over time.

Bought this to use while on my treadmill. Use to get the worst static shocks. Zero static with this strapped to my wrist. Simply clip to any metal on the treadmill and you’re golden. Game changer.

Do not take the chance, if you are doing any upgrading to your PC, spend the couple of dollars and buy an anti-static strap to ensure you don't inadvertently do damage to your motherboard and components. This one is simple and has the snap so if you need to walk away for a moment you don't have to disconnect the whole wire just pop off the button and you have a snazzy wrist band ;) all kidding aside the product works as intended and reasonably priced a definite must have if doing any PC upgrades.
