Due to covid I could not get an OEM one, nor could I get one from any parts store.I read the reviews and saw about 50% of them worked so I bought 2 thinking at least one would work.Installed both and neither one worked right out of the box.Do not recommend

Easy install ...Shift pattern all wrong..JunkPut it in my 2005 SLT 4x4 w/ 5.9L Diesel. Shifts rough and keeps first gear too long . Transmission kickdown is not responsive. Shifts rough. I went with OEM Mopar and worked perfectly. Bummer since this was 1/3 the price....

Worked perfectly for a 1/4 of the price of original mopar. Its very important that you turn key forward and let ecm learn it before starting otherwise this product will not work and could result in a tow to a dealer. Only takes 30 seconds for ecm to learn the new ttva.

As of 6/3/19, the cheapest MOPAR actuator on eBay is $188. This generic actuator was literally half the cost, at $90. The factory actuator is made by Siemens, and it is stamped as such. The spot for a stamp on this generic unit is simply blank. For all I know, this unit is mass produced in China. Either way, the unit functions as designed. It was about a 10-minute swap, and can be performed with the trans still on the truck. Be advised: the DTC's that are triggered by a faulty actuator have to be cleared by a professional type scan tool; a consumer level scan tool won't delete them. This is important to know, because the ECM will not supply the 5v signal to power up the actuator until the codes have been cleared. This means you can NOT run the 30 second calibration procedure to activate the actuator until the codes have been deleted. I had a trans shop clear the codes and run the calibration for $52. The combined costs were still cheaper than a MOPAR actuator alone.
