The retaining bolt broke after 3 months of use. And left me on the side of the hiway. The seller had nothing to say, not even sorry?

The trick for getting these in easier is to lube the o rings with transmission fluid. The only issue that I had was with the bolt in the middle. it started to thread in and then the threads stripped off as the metal is very soft, too soft. I had to use the bolt out of my old one and then I had no issues.

Fixed the trans leak on my 06 300C AWD. The secret to installing these without fighting the darn thing is to grease them lightly before trying to install it. They pop right in with a light smear of grease around the O-Ring. If you don't do this, you'll have one heck of a fight on your hands and could potentially damage the fuse plate by trying to screw this thing down before it's seated completely. To keep everything clean in the trans, use petroleum jelly for grease, it'll dissolve in the trans fluid.

2002 S430 perfect fit. Easy to install and saved a ton of money over stealership labor prices.
