I just started archery and everyone I asked said go with a tab over a glove. I bought both so I could give them a fair test. The tab wins by a mile. The fingers of the glove are very protective, but they add a lot of bulk to my fingers and get in way at full draw. The tab has none of that and the release is much smoother. I didn't have to trim this one, fit like a glove, excuse the pun.
