I bought this to put in my elderly father's bedroom as he has been sick lately and took a fall trying to get to the bathroom and I want to be able to know if he needs me before he has to shout. I bought a different one from another company for keeping tabs on the dog when she is out in the yard along and so I was already familiar with the kind fo setup this needs, and the other one is downloaded onto my tablet and so is this one. It is really easy to install the app and for me I just need live notifications, as the tablet just sits on a stand and will let me know when there is movement. So I can't speak to how it is with an SD card but I do like that they don't force you into the subscription to the cloud, because I have gotten to the point where I stay away from anyone forcing a subscription down my throat. Feels scammy.So far this works great and lets me know even if he tosses and turns in bed. I work late so I am able to keep tabs for most of the night, and then I set the tablet to be loud for notifications for this app and only this app, and so it has not yet needed me in the later night but that's a good thing. I would say the video quality is what you want, it's not an iphone but if you are expecting that then you should also be expecting to pay for that kind of camera in a similar price point. For me it is really clear even in the dark, but again I am just looking for a large man falling out of bed or waving for help, not a baby, so use the other people's review for that please.

This is a really great baby monitor camera! It was really easy to set up and the app is really intuitive to use. I was fully up and running in about 10 minutes and was able to control the camera using the app on my phone.I wasn't exactly sure how I would feel having the baby monitor baked into my phone, but the picture in picture mode on it makes it super handy to the point that I can still use my phone while using it as the display for the baby monitor.I like the motion detection features on it and while I didn't get the premium AI features, they seem like they would be pretty handy as well. You can also just use it as a regular camera rather than a baby monitor and it seems like a lot of the AI features are catered towards that.I like that you can put an SD card into it and load music onto it to be able to play which is a handy feature. You can also store photos that you take which is nice.It's got a nice, easy mounting clip to be able to mount it on the wall, but it's easy enough to take the camera down just by twisting it off of the mounting clip.It comes with everything you need to set up, including a power brick, which is nice is a lot of devices don't come with a power brick anymore.The picture quality and sound quality are fantastic. There's also very little latency on the picture and sound which means you'll know right away if you need to go running upstairs to go comfort a crying infant.The camera itself feels very well made. I like that it can swivel 360° as well as look up and down. It makes it really handy if you're trying to mount it and point it towards a crib while providing the flexibility to move things later without having to put more holes in the wall.If later on you decide that you want to also get a separate monitor unit, this company also sells those which provides some added convenience that you can always adjust your setup later if you want.Overall, I'm very impressed with this camera and I would highly recommend it!

I’ve been using the Arenti B2 for a little while now, and honestly, it's been smooth sailing from the start. Setup was quick and painless, which I really appreciated—didn’t have to wrestle with the app or spend forever syncing it up. The camera's ability to swivel and give a full look around the room is super handy, especially when I'm keeping tabs on both a curious toddler and a mischievous pet.The sound and movement notifications have been pretty on point. I get alerts when something actually happens, not just every little thing like a shadow moving. Also, being able to talk through it is a nice touch—I’ve used it to calm my little one without rushing in right away, and that’s been surprisingly effective. The speaker for the talk back function is not very good (my only issue).Night visibility is solid—things stay pretty clear, which gives me peace of mind after lights out. And while I didn’t expect to care much about the temperature sensor, it’s become a nice bonus to make sure the room stays comfortable.All in all, it just works. No bugs, no lag, no weird quirks. It blends in well, doesn’t scream for attention on a shelf, and the video quality is better than I thought it’d be. For anyone looking for a reliable way to keep an eye on things at home—kid, pet, or both—this one's definitely worth checking out.

This nanny cam works really well. I am sure that it works wonderfully in an actual nursery setting to keep a watchful eye on infants and toddlers. However, I decided to use this camera in my office. Sometimes bank deposits get left in my filing cabinet for a day or two until the treasurer who makes the deposit is able to come pick up the envelope and take it into the bank. Although it is my office, it is not uncommon for people to come into my office for supplies or to clean. Every time that someone enters the office when I am not there, the app notifies me and there is a 3 minute video recorded. When I get the notification, I can also log into the app to see a live feed from the camera. This keeps my office safe and secure and if there is ever an issue with anything going missing, there is recorded video evidence of crime. The camera has high resolution leading to crisp and clear pictures and video playback. The fact that audio is also recorded is wonderful and it is amazing to have total control of the camera from a remote location. I have never used the audio call feature, but that sounds really cool.For all of the features and options that are available with this camera, I would highly recommend this as a nanny cam, or an office security camera. Well worth the $79.99.
