You'd think I would use this for my dogs but no.. I use this on the back porch to prevent dirt and sand and general grime from being tracked into the house and quite honestly, it makes things look so much better AND keeps the dirt in the grass.The corners don't curl, it's waterproof so when it rains there is no mildew or funky smell or anything.

This is very nice artificial grass. If I could, I'd do my entire backyard with it. I am currently using this piece in the greenhouse. It instantly refreshes and gives it a clean look. It looks nice, drains water well, and cleans up easily. I either rinse the dirt with a hose or blow it with the lawn blower. I will say it is a bit pricey for the size. I've gotten much larger pieces for the same amount or less.

I was excited to try this out, since the pictures looked fairly fantastic, but, in reality they're not representative of the item I received. (My review takes price into consideration, especially relative to what else is on the market.) Here are my observations:Thickness/Density - The thickness (after brushing it out, after unboxing) was about as advertised, however, the blades of grass are much less dense than presented in the pictures. I assume that's why all pics are at an angle and the one that's head-on is small or blurry when zoomed in. (See my pic from above, almost straight down)Grass itself - the blades are very thin and have a waxy/plasticky feel. It feels good on the feet but is shiny in the sun. They don't look/feel like real grass, however, they DO have a nice look from an angle. Between the material and thinness, I don't expect the color to last in direct sunlight for more than 8-14mo.Drainage - This is one point that really demonstrates the disingenuous listing photos. In those pics, the drainage holes are very close together, within (what looks like) a couple of inches from one another. As shown in my image, the holes are 6-12" apart, which results in water or urine pooling in large areas, slooowly draining through the grass seams where they're sewn into the backing.Warranty - None I could find via the links on the listing. I reached out to the seller/manufacturer and inquired about the life and/or warranty of the grass. Their reply was, "The life span will be affected by the intensity of use. If it is used in high traffic area, it will reduce the life span. Usually it could be used 1-2 years. If you need to replace it after 1-2 years, we could provide a discount for you to buy a new one. "I wanted to love this product; we really wanted to have a garage-sized area of fake grass for the yard until we can landscape it. Unfortunately, this will continue to be a 1-time order until we find a higher quality (or value) option for a dirt barrier for when the dogs come inside from the yard.

We have had this synthetic grass on the back porch all summer and it is still doing fine. We are in Texas and that back porch gets afternoon sun all day. There hasn't been any fading or ripping. We are using it on the back porch as just a floor cover. The dogs have the rest of the yard to do their business.
