The little girl who received this as a holiday gift is now extremely disappointed, as the lamp stopped working within a few weeks. Pushing the power button makes the lamp flash on for a millisecond, but then it turns off again. Agree with another reviewer that the figure's head is too heavy and constantly falls off or tips the unit over. I would return this but we're JUST past the return window. Do not buy!

Have a small collection of similar projectors. They all seem to function more or less the same. You get the ability to toggle / cycle through colors and the stars can be toggled separately. Does include a remote. I like that the helmets can be adjusted to change your angle. The astronaut itself is a fun design and imho, looks nice as it is without even getting into the lighting functionality.Likes:- Remote- Color options- Cool aesthetic, looks neat as a standalone decorative item.- Can move the head/angle.- Can toggle / cycle both stars as well as the galaxy effect.Dislikes:- Not a huge fan of the look of the base, though I do appreciate the balance it helps with.

I needed a light for my son, who is 5 years old, before sleeping. He was scared of the dark, and I wanted something that covered his whole ceiling. His bedroom is 8x10, and the robot covers the ceiling and walls easily. The robot can run for 30 minutes and shut. That is great since I wanted a light that can turn off. Because there is a remote if he is still awake, he clicks the big red button, and it turns back on. The robot does some white noise, probably the internal device that makes the light turn, but it is subtle and actually good for sleeping. You need to have a 2xaaa battery for the remote, and you need an outlet connector since the box contains a USB-A to USB-C. The USB-C goes into the robot. I had an old cellphone connector, which did the job. The head is easily adjustable on the robot to change the angle. I posted some photos and will try to record a video soon in the dark! The figurine looks nice, and my son loves it. Oh, and you can change to different colors and speeds with the remote or on the robot itself. Easy to use!

I bought this for my 10 year old son and he absolutely loves it. We’ve had it a little over a month now and it will not stay on. It sits in the same spot in his room. When he can get it on he enjoys watching the lights at night.

When it works.. my kids love it.. but it doesn't work without being plugged in and I've had mine for less than a month and it no longer works

Bought this for my son’s birthday in October. He’s had it for about a month. The remote started acting up last week (unable to change the projection) today we couldn’t get it to turn on at all. We’ve changed the batteries, tried different outlets- nothing works. My son is very disappointed, he loved going to sleep with it.

Ordered this for a family members kid who is staying with us for a bit. He absolutely loves the lighting effects of the nebula and stars. It's actually quite relaxing to watch. Product works well and does what it advertises.

MY KIDS LOVE THIS PROJECTOR, AND I ALSO USE IT WHILE JAMMING QITH MY GUITAR! IT ADDS A NICE COOLING RELAXING MOOD TO THE OTHERWISE BLEEK BASEMENT! GREAT FOR PARTIES, JAMMING OR YOGA. NOT JUST FOR KIDS. THE PROJECTION CAN EASILY LIGHT UP AN ENTIRE BUNGALOW BASEMENT.

Returning this item as it does not work. When I push the power button, it comes on and then goes off immediately. It will not stay on. Also the design is poor as the head is quite heavy compared to the body so it tips over all the time.
