Needed to improve the ventilation in the greenhouse and this thermostat control seemed a good option. With a temperature range of 50-120F, it can easily be utilized for various purposes.Compared to all the fancy digital controllers out there that will take you right back to those dreaded days of trying to program a VCR, this is simple and easy to use. Plug in the thermostat, a fan into it, rotate the temp dial, and done. It really doesn't get any more simple than that.

I am not using this for an attic fan, but for a greenhouse fan. This thing works well for me and seems to be pretty accurate with the temperature setting. I tested it in two different temperature environments, one around 50 degrees and the other up around 90 degrees. Both worked without issue and did exactly what it was supposed to do. Given the greenhouse is a higher humidity environment, I do hope it holds up. It will be a good test over time. Overall a good option for the price and functionality. Highly recommended.

Okay this has been a life saver so far. I have solar batteries and a grid-tie inverter in a room that can got kind of hot when the inverter is running for a while. By placing this into the closet to extract the heat when it reaches a specified temperature, it has helped keep the room at a safe level for the electronics.I know that these are generally used for house attic fans but they can be used for any need that requires temperature control such as my inverter closet. Variable temperature control from 50 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

Got this fan thermostat for my Dad's greenhouse. It can start a fan whenever the temperature in the greenhouse reaches the set temperature. We didn't put it in our attic because our attic is filled with loose cellulose insulation. It's quite dusty trying to move around in there.
