Great experience to grow mushrooms by myself, the kids enjoyed to watch it too. Was tasty too

This kit is a great way for beginners to produce their first flush of mushrooms! Comes with easy instructions, that aren't too hard to follow! I have so far had more success with this product than my many failed attempts at liquid culture syringes!I myself separated some of the packaged spawn into a small container to fruit. So far it's working great!I would highly recommend this product for beginner mushroom growers!

I really enjoyed this product, which allowed me to harvest a nice crop of oyster mushrooms—not just once, but twice. Here are the positive points:1- Easy to use: The instructions are clear, and the steps to grow delicious mushrooms are simple to follow.2- Educational value: This kit is a great introduction to mushroom cultivation for beginners.3- Quick results: With minimal effort, you can get satisfying results in a short amount of time.As for the downsides, the only one I can point out is that for those with a bit more knowledge in mycology, there are much more cost-effective ways to grow mushrooms—and in larger quantities too. Conclusion: This kit should be seen as an excellent introduction to mycology, rather than a viable method for growing mushrooms in terms of quantity and production cost.

Poor germination and mold growth. Did not harvest any mushrooms.

I’ve ordered a total of 5 of these. One for me and 4 for friends and family. Easy to grow and they are ready to harvest in 10 days. Pretty pricey if you are buying it just to eat the mushrooms but it’s a great gift

Poor quality, water it as per instructions, but mushroom came out tiny and smalle quantity, won’t recommend it

Like all other mushroom kits, it was fun to observe them grow overnight. This one actually yielded as much as other full size kits. The yield was 182g raw for $20. After cooking that is at most two servings as a side/topping. That is steep. Every now and then I trick myself into buying another mushroom kit hoping I'll get more out of it, no expectation to ever get my money's worth and I never even come close. Store bought is still the best option if you have an appetite for oyster mushrooms. I also noticed the flavour was lacking a bit compared to other kits I have tried.

I think it is blue oyster. I cannot let it grow in open air, as I nose becomes wheezy when I do that. The instructions are not that clear. After cutting an X through the plastic bag, I disturbed very lightly the mycelium and soaked it... This was not enough... It did not grow. I researched online and understood that I need to rip off the plastic on the X, and I had to make lines of about 0.5cm deep on the rectangle cut from the X. Of course, this meant I had to spray it every 2 hours with non chlorinated water (either boiled room temperature or Brita filtered water). Two days in and my nose was wheezy so I covered the whole thing, and watered less often as there is less evaporation. Ten days after, I harvested my first batch successfully. The mycelium is literally much lighter after a harvest.I then boiled some cut grass, and waited for the boiled water cool down to room temperature before soaking the mycelium in it a second time. The second batch takes more time, and I sprayed the mycelium often with the boiled grass liquid I prepared making sure that it is not contaminated.I went on and this is my fourth batch. At the price of $22, I literally need 5 batches to get my money's worth...
