Although it looks like it would be nice to have a nice short antenna, reality is not the same.This little unadjustable antenna produced and SWR measuring way over 6. Whith the ideal range being under 2 preferably a 1.2 or so or lower, not only would range be extremely limited this would have actually damaged my CB unit. Additionally, being that the length is unadjustable, back it goes.Other thing you should know is that the supplied cable is relatively short also so running to the back of an SUV is out of the question.

This antenna is terrible. The receive quality is so laughably bad. Everything comes in distorted and static. Trying to get a usable SWR with this antenna was so difficult. Tried other antennas that worked much better. My biggest issue is that at around 60mph this thing flys off. The magnet is terrible. It doesn’t stay on the roof at all. Worthless. The performance is garbage.

I am new to CB radio, and bought this antenna to pair up with the new radio. Honestly, haven't found anybody in my region to talk to over the air. I went through multiple low-clearance shopping malls and such, and so far the antenna has not been knocked off the roof. The only dislike is how short the cable was. In my opinion, the length of the cable is only good for mounting on the hood of the car, anywhere else either doesn't look good, or is painful to reach. I am now hunting for a base with way longer cable to work with this antenna if that is the thing.

Unlike other brands of antennas of this design, the magnet on this one holds it securely in place in high winds and at high way speeds with no problem. It performs very well.

This is actually a dangerous product for use with a CB radio. The measured SWR (about 6) is literally the highest I've ever seen -- even with some super cheap Midland antennas. That can literally fry your radio if you key transmit even for a few minutes.While I knew from a few reviews that the base wasn't going to be that great, I was shocked at how poorly designed it is. The metal part of the base actually extends BEYOND the crappy felt bottom. Any slippage or failure to take care in removing the antenna will scratch your car. I noticed this right away so I was thinking of taking the felt off to replace it with plastic. However, after testing a 6+ SWR, this junk isn't worth the effort to mod.RETURNED.

The antenna I received was not a magnetic base as stated, which was my entire reason for wanting it. I purchased this with the intentions of mounting this on my truck in lieu of my current Lil' Wil antenna. The Lil' Wil antenna was a little too long on the top of the truck so I needed something shorter. Decided to go with this. I didn't need too far of range so I wasn't concerned with length. According to Bingfu, this antenna is pretuned and cannot be adjusted. I tried with my Uniden Bearcat 980SSB, could not get SWR below 4.0. Tried with my Galaxy and my Stryker radios, same issue. Not worth wasting the time.

Everything arrived on time and when I attempted to attach the antenna before mounting the base found the connecter on the base in a d shape. Unable to mount antenna and since needed the bse is totally useless for me. The packaged arrived un damaged with the other items in perfect shape. Deciding what my next step is but will be ordering another magnetic mount from a different manufacturer since that is what I need.
