This is thick, heavy duty, food grade butcher paper. It stands up to smoking and wetness, it wont bleed through. The roll is big and wide 175' will last me a long time. It seems worth it for $40.You might find brown paper at a lower price but not this well made for BBQ.I recommend this butcher paper.

Haven’t used this yet. Hoping to use it soon. Saw the bbq shows using butcher paper to wrap meat. I’m like I should try that the person that doesn’t own a smoker yet but a regular grill. Anyway it looks sturdy. I’m curious to just put it on the grill with my seafood and see what it does. I usually use foil to steam my shrimp and stuff on the grill. I’ll come back with an update when I get better :)

I have used my smoker quite a bit over the years, but I have seen YouTubers use pink butcher paper and I was eager to try it for myself. I had some pork belly that was cut into (large) bite-sized pieces, so I laid out some paper, dumped the meat into a single layer, and generously seasoned them with Slap Yo Mama. I wrapped them, while maintaining a single layer and then I put the package on the smoker for six hours, flipping the package about four hours in. When I took it out of the smoker the I saw a lot of rendered fat absorbed by the paper. The meat was moist and tender. I had some smoke flavor, but I can see why most people smoke the meat first, then wrap it to finish cooking. I just didn't have that option with my pre-cut pork belly. I am definitely satisfied with the quality of this product and look forward to future cooks.

This butcher paper would never have been on my personal list of reasons to be happy. But my husband is a cook and he was super happy when it came in. He uses it for so many different things. He tries to explain it to me, on how much better everything will package now, but 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don't know. He says it's great to freeze portioned meals. It's also great to keep the meat fresh longer, and to marinate in. He's used it when he's preparing meat as well, so at least he gets use out of it lol.It arrived quickly, was packaged well and the paper was in perfect condition upon delivery. Also you get a lot of it. I didn't realize how big the roll was going to be, but we are not disappointed with it here.

This is a great role of butchers paper, a kin to the quality you get from the actual grocery store. I have found when wrapping meets even wet meets. There is no leak or bleed through on this paper. It wraps perfectly ready for the smoker oven or even the freezer as needed. You can even pour straight up liquids on this paper and it will not soak through all the way. Very impressed with the brand this is probably the best butcher I have ever used.Highly recommend 10 out of 10 Product A+.Just buy it you won’t have any regrets with this one.

We only recently got into smoking meat and briskets. This paper is invaluable for this kind of thing and helps to keep your meat from drying out when cooking. We also use it for wrapping food that has already been cooked. I am impressed with the quality of the paper...it doesn't rip or tear easily. There is also plenty of it on the roll and it should do us for a long while. This is a great buy for anyone who loves to BBQ...the quality and quantity is definitely there.

I recently bought the BLUE SMOKE Standard Width Pink Butcher Paper Roll, and it has proven to be an invaluable addition to my BBQ supplies. This unwaxed, uncoated kraft paper is perfect for smoking meat and handling various cooking tasks.Firstly, the quality of the paper is impressive. It’s food-grade, ensuring that it’s safe to use with all types of meats and other food items. The paper is durable and handles the rigors of smoking and grilling exceptionally well. It’s thick enough to provide a solid barrier while still being flexible enough to wrap around different cuts of meat. The size of the roll (18 inches x 175 feet) is ideal for both casual and serious BBQ enthusiasts. The width is perfect for wrapping briskets, ribs, and other large cuts of meat, and the length of the roll ensures that you have plenty of paper for multiple uses. The large roll also means fewer trips to the store and a more economical option in the long run.One of the standout features is the paper's ability to breathe. Unlike foil, this butcher paper allows the meat to breathe during cooking, which helps retain the bark and enhance the overall flavor. It’s especially useful for maintaining the perfect texture while smoking meat, resulting in delicious and juicy BBQ.The pink color adds a nice touch to presentation, and it’s reminiscent of the classic butcher paper used in many BBQ competitions and restaurants. While the color is more aesthetic, it’s also a subtle reminder of its intended use in traditional BBQ practices. The paper is easy to handle and tear, making it user-friendly for both beginners and seasoned cooks. It also does a great job of keeping juices contained while allowing for easy cleanup. The fact that it’s unwaxed and uncoated means it won’t affect the flavor of the meat or introduce any unwanted chemicals.Overall, the BLUE SMOKE Pink Butcher Paper Roll is a top-notch product for anyone serious about BBQ. Its quality, size, and functionality make it an excellent choice for smoking meat, wrapping, and general cooking needs. I highly recommend this butcher paper for anyone looking to elevate their BBQ game and achieve fantastic results.

Wow, this is by far the most expensive and quality butcher paper I've come across. While the roll is large and heavy, I'd never expect to find such a quality paper for those various uses where it comes in handy. It certainly lives up to the price at 175' in length and a thickness that is very welcomed when smoking meat. Cheaper papers are always tearing on me, especially when the meat has a sharp edge or bone sticking out as I'm trying to wrap it. This paper does a nice job of containing all of the juices while remaining intact. My wife lives to make full-table length charcuterie arrangements and this is a fantastic option for doing so. You can ladle-on sauces, dips and spreads right on the paper and it won't soak right through as dome papers do. I expect this roll to last quite awhile but once it runs out, I'll certainly be back for more.

I don't use this for smoking, I use it to wrap up unused food portions like cheeses, cold cuts, and leftovers. I've become very reluctant to use anything that's plastic next yo my food. I know this is largely futile because a lot of Whole Foods come in plastic to begin with, including many meats. But I figure whatever I can do to minimize my exposure is a good thing. And this heavy paper is top notch to enclose food without drying it out, while also protecting my fridge against any leaks or moisture. I just use masking tape after wrapping it like a burrito. It's a generous amount of paper that I anticipate will last a long time.

I used to wrap in tinfoil until I saw the butcher paper method - much better for keeping the meat moist! This paper is consistent with no obvious blemishes that could contribute to unintentional weakness. It feels a bit thicker than some other lighter coloured butcher paper I've used in the past, which I found to be a bonus for my application. It sure is handy to have this roll at home!
