This is a nice size box for storing bits. The price is reasonable also. However, the protruding plastic on the sides makes it difficult to include in an EDC kit.

I bought this Bosch storage box to organize my smaller, lesser used, bits assuming the premium brand meant good quality. Unfortunately it turned out to be a very basic plastic case with an absurdly stiff latch.Considering the high Bosch name, I expected something more heavy duty and better designed. But the thin plastic doesn't feel particularly sturdy or durable, I knew it was clear just didn't expect it to be cheaply so. It does clip-in nicely but that's more due to the bit holder than this storage box.Accessing the bits is rendered pointless anyway by the terrible latch design. You have to use extreme force to pinch the tiny plastic latch to get the lid open at all. It's so stiff that often just ignore the contents in favor of the DeWalt/Craftsman style which is a simple slide lock and feels significantly nicer.With flimsy plastic construction and a functionally useless latch, I'm not sure what merits the premium Bosch pricing on this. Maybe if it was $1 dollar I could understand but it's multiple times that price. For a basic drill bit box, it's overpriced and poorly executed.

These have a slightly weird shape, so that, in theory you can put two of them into one box and access the latch to open. However they are very close together, making it difficult to open if there is more than one in the same box. One per box is ok.

Nothing wrong with the product in itself...I wish *they*[ whoever they may be..] would give the dimensions of the product, NOT the packaging...Description states: 2.6 x 12.7 x 14.6 cm >> thats the size of the packing.- the product itself is : 2.5 x 7.7 x 7.7 cm - therefore I got a MUCH smaller item than expected.

I have about a dozen of these. I like them because they are handy for organizing projects and I can see what's inside and they open easily and fasten securely. I can put whatever I need for a certain job in one box and go. I also use them for fasteners that only get used for special applications, like deck ballisters connectors or kitchen chair screws, or cabinet hinge screws. Keeps them handy and separate from daily items. I have received two of these cracked, but never had an issue while using them or carrying them in cases with other tools. All in all a good product.
