I have nothing but applause for this fence. My table saw is safer and performs like a larger model. This fence combined with featherboards, roller guides, and or anti kickback accessories instills greater confidence. It is very well made (heavier than expected), with a great dark gray finish and everything attaches easily and moves smoothly. I considered making my own but when calculating the cost of quality materials and time to fabricate, I quickly realized the bow fence was a wiser option for accuracy and compatibility with other tools.

This took my dewalt contractor saw to whole new levels. I used to hate my table saw, but with all the new Bow Products I've added has absolutely transformed my saw. It's a whole new animal now. Highly recommend.

Super sturdy, very functional. I have a 1956 dewalt/atlas table saw and the old fence was always strait but lacked all the options this upgrade offers. I did buy the fence thinking the clamps ect would come with it but after re-reading the profile I realized they didnt. I had to order those separately but well worth ever penny

I wanted to review the fence of Bow Products.I just bought the fence and 2 clamps.Fast Shipping, I supposed to get it on Saturday, I got it a day earlier, on Friday. The cardboard is super heavy and stiff. From the moment you take it into your hands, you see that the Bow Products Company did not cut any corners. Looks like they want to make sure that there is absolutely zero chance for any damage or bend of the fence in the shipping. Just the packaging itself is probably worth $10.The fence is heavy and solid 1 inch thick aluminum.Quality! You are going to see it right away.I have the 10 inch metabo hpt jobsite saw ($450). The saw is stationed in the basement of my house, I have all the space I need. I am using 8 foot long outfeed table and I am currently building 4 foot infeed table.Wait! You do need to buy this fence - you have the support tables. Wrong!I also have 12 inch single bevel meter saw and circular saw with the aluminum guide for longer cuts. I am not planning to spend hundreds of dollars for the track saw - I like using my table saw. I want to be able to cut entire sheet of plywood by myself on the table saw.Installation took 5 min. Position the fence accordingly and use the clamps.I did have a little problem with my original fence. The "low fence" or "flip support" part of my original fence for wider pieces (mostly plywood) was getting in the way of the clamps and if I wanted to cut something wide, I would have to take the Bow Fence off , flip the support, reattach Bow fence - too much hassle. I am lazy, I do not want to disconnect and then connect - the Bow Fence will stay in place on my saw! I permanently disconnected flip support and I cut wide piece of 3/4 plywood, which I can slide underneath from either side of the fence for support for wider pieces. The original fence is 23 inches long. The Bow Fence is 46, so I am doubling the "travel time" of the workpiece against the fence. I am using it mostly for infeed. (21 inches on the infeed and 2 on the outfeed). In the future, I might get some upgrades for my table saw like zero clearance insert, feather boards, etc. My argument is this: "This fence should be Number 1 upgrade for any small/compact/contractor/jobsite table saw". This upgrade should be done before any other upgrades are even considered. The way that I am using table saw is probably completely different that an average person.Because I am absolutely terrified of it, I like to stand far away from the saw. I use two long push sticks (each one is about 42 inches long), plus I stand at 6'1'', so I have a little longer reach. This fence fits the bill perfectly for "far away" and accurate work. This is one of those GENIUS ideas ("FENCE IN YOUR FACE") that ALMOST no one thought about it. Get it, you will absolutely love it!

I put one of these along with the fence clamps, feed supports, and feather boards on my DeWalt contractor saw. From the first cut, the benefits were clear in terms of safety and ease of use. Feeding larger work pieces into the saw became simple and safe from the start. All the standard cautions about table saws apply but you know that already. The components are very sturdy and well-made. The instructions are clear and installation is fast and very easy. I can move mine from saw to saw with very little effort. It also works on my band saw which is a huge plus. Fully equipped the Bow fence is about $300 which for me was well worth the cost.

The Bow XTender fence solves the problem of insufficient registration surface on contractor saw fences, which can result in crooked cuts, and it solves it flawlessly. I bought the longest profile they make, the 46", along with the T-track clamps and workpiece support brackets and had all of it clamped to my Bosch 4100 in under two minutes. It clamps on squarely and securely. Note that any T-track clamp will work, no need to buy theirs if you already have some.Obviously, you lose the ability to set cut width directly off the saw's tape, but the Bosch doesn't have a rack and pinion fence, so I'm already accustomed to measuring from both sides of the blade. I biased the fence toward the infeed side since outfeed tends to take care of itself. Before it arrived, I considered buying another, possibly shorter fence from Bow for use with my bandsaw. However, the fence extension comes off the table saw's fence so easily (just a couple of turns of the clamps' knobs) that one will do just fine. The profile also comes with a top accessory slot. While I don't own any yet, this slot would be exactly what a pair of Jessem stock feed rollers will want.I use Bora roller stands and a Bora conveyor roller for material support when cutting sheet goods (no track saw). Bow's stock support brackets have enabled me to position the rollers and conveyor more effectively. The XTender fence makes my table saw safer and more accurate. The rear T-slot is going to provide capabilities that I haven't even needed yet, such as attachment points for jigs. For a bit over $200, I've gained the capabilities of a larger saw while retaining my existing saw's portability and footprint. Couldn't be happier. Thanks, Bow, for getting it right
They work so good have 3 of them now

I used to have a table saw, but when I downsized, I went with a Bosch contractor saw. I bought the whole fence system. The fence is rock solid and very high quality. It attached effortlessly to my existing fence, and having used other table saws, it should be a great accessory of just about any table saw. For some reason, Amazon divided my purchase into one review for the fence, and one review for the accessories that make it work. I will leave a separate review for the accessories.
