Original Canon ink cartridge. Freshness date was good. Installed and works properly. I don't yet know how much longer life the XL will give me over a standard cartridge. Hopefully at least 50% given the price difference.

These are great never-fail ink cartridges. I should know -- I buy enough of them. It isn't that they don't last long enough; it's that I really print a lot. Every time I buy another cartridge, I think, "I really have to buy a Canon Eco-tank." Really. I've got to.

Hazard with any of these seems to be getting ink on the hands, no matter how careful I am 🤷♀️ Not sure what else you wanna know. I mean I find them grossly overpriced. Ink should be like $10-$20 imo, yet here we are, in need of printing stuff and having no cost effective alternative options…
