The stereo is fantastic; however, I am encountering an issue where it fails to locate a channel when I switch to AM and FM. If anyone else has faced a similar problem and has found a solution, I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

I love it I paid a friend to install It. Only thing I don’t like the airbag light stays on after the install.

This stereo is awesome. Much better quality and more features than most aftermarket stereos being sold now. It was a perfect fit and installation was simple. pretty much just plug and play. it comes with all the adapters and plugs you will need for the install.

The Android 12 Car Stereo for the Toyota Highlander (2008-2013) is a fantastic upgrade that has transformed my in-car experience! The 10.1-inch touchscreen with a 1280x800 resolution is sharp and responsive, making it easy to control all the features and apps. The 2GB RAM and 64GB storage ensure smooth performance with plenty of space for apps, music, and media. The 5G WiFi capability offers fast and reliable connectivity, allowing me to stream music and use GPS navigation without any hiccups. The integration with CarPlay and Android Auto is seamless, offering easy access to navigation, calls, and music. Bluetooth connectivity is stable, and calls come through clearly without any interruptions. The 1080P backup camera provides a sharp, clear view when reversing, which is a huge plus for safety.Overall, this stereo upgrade is a must-have for any Toyota Highlander owner looking to add modern features and enhance their driving experience. Highly recommended!

I see a lot of folks received this product for free. I did not, I paid for it out of my own pocket. The vehicle I have is as follows: 2008 Toyota Highlander Limited with JBL Audio.I bought this stereo because it said it would be compatible with a lot of the options in this trim level. While it does work with some of the harnesses that are in the car, there are several that remain disconnected. I have the OEM backup so I did not connect the one provided. Nevertheless, let me list the pros and cons.Pros:1. It is somewhat plug and Play. You will not need to solder or tap into anything.2.The UI is very responsive and not slow compared to other ones I have purchased.3. You can replace the launcher with another one if desired.4. Android Auto connects quickly via bluetooth and the USB cable.Cons:1. It does not retain steering wheel controls even though it says it will. I checked all the harnesses and none connects to the controls.2. The audio quality is notably worse on this one than the stock radio.3. If you wear polarized glasses, the screen will not be visible depending on the angle.4. The stock UI is terrible and even the ones offered are not that good. I suggest replacing it with a different launcher. (I am using Nova Launcher on this one).5. The finish fit is not that good, as displayed by the pictures.6. You cannot use the stock camera on this one, there is no harness available to allow you to do that.7. The documentation is seriously lacking. There is step that says you need to connect the CANBUS connector to the head unit, but there is no CANBUS connector on the harness.Despite the cons, I think I will be keeping this unit mainly for the android auto feature. If this was a standalone unit without that, I would be returning it. If I see any other cons or pros I will return to this post and edit it.P.S. You will need to remove the vents from your old unit on to this one. The plastic pins on this unit are not that great, so be careful snap fitting them on to the piece given with the head unit. You will also need to remove the airbag and hazard lights button from the old unit and install it into this new unit.
