Immediately after gas is opened it leaks like crazy, tried tightening floatbowl, still leaks. Asked company for replacement gasket, no response

My edger has been anemic for a number of years. Easily bogs down, lower power, etc. I have cleaned the carb several times, each was a little better but still not great.This carb was like a breath of fresh air for my old edger. Everything went together easily. One thing of note is the limiting arm on the butterfly control plate (outside...the part that is shiny and moves back and forth). It was contacting the carb mounting nut and not allowing the governor to fully open the throttle. The head of the mounting screw/bolt is actually smaller than the nut on the other end. I just installed that bolt in reverse and the limiting arm now moves past the small bolt head and contacts the body of the carb (which is what it is suppose to do).This kit came with lots of goodies, including fuel and air filter, gaskets, etc. It also came with two sections of fuel line which did not appear to be high quality. I used my own fuel line that I know will be around for years.I'm happy to give this a 5 star review. Thanks!
