Great tool, quality seems really good. Balance with a battery is weird, but so is the dewalt. I've only used it once. So far it's a very welcome part of my tool kit.

Great product for the price, does exactly what is says on the tin. Not sure i would be any happier with a branded tool.

Decent router, used it quite a lot now. Getting the bits in and out isn't the best but the power is amazing. If your planning on doing loads of work with one, go dewalt. If your occasional user this is epic

I'd like to start by saying, this router does perform excellent for most router needs and as long as your not taking full depth, full width cuts. The reason i say this is the auto overload protection causes the router to shut off under what i would consider to be moderate load (based on sound of motor). I am a carpenter and purchased this mainly for flush cutting 1/2" - 3/4" sheathing. Using a brand-new 1/4" wide flush trim bit cutting through even 1/2" plywood will often trigger the overload protection and cause it to shut up, causing time wasted. Personally, i don't need overload protection and often use my sense of smell or audio ques to tell me when a motor is being overloaded and i have never burnt a single tool. To some that's a feature, for me, having more control is a feature. Only reason for 3 stars and not 4 is due to the Chuck lock bring misaligned and breaking off the first use. Great router for the price, not for me.

I bought this to replace with my problematic Dewalt model. For the price and extras that came with it, I can honestly say it performs much better than expected. Like it better than the Dewalt!

It’s a great hand held router. Excellent quality. Burns through batteries pretty fast in highest setting but powers through wood like it was paper.

I already own the Dewalt 20v compact so I decided to buy this router as a back up. For the money, this kit, which includes router, guide and router bits is a great value. The router feels, solid, we’ll-built and is brushless. I cut some dados and coves in poplar and the unit performed well; not sure how it will stand the test of time but so far so good. The only concern I have is the durability of the plastic hasp lever that locks the router base sleeve to the motor shaft. It needs to be opened and shut when changing bits or adjusting bit depth. Looks like tightening might do the trick if slippage becomes an issue. Anyway, I’m satisfied with the value.

This is an incredible little router. I got the cordless on for two reasons. 1. It will use the same batteries as my existingDeWalt tools. 2. It has a brushless motor.

Needed a small router for some finishing carpentry - and was able to use my Dewalt batteries - so a great economical option. Well made. Only thing that's poor quality is the hopeless manual. excellent value.
