I did not like the opening size of the 2 ports on the cyclone itself. It took a while to find the right size of hose. Once I did it works great.

Seems to work as advertised, just found it a bit fidlely to assemble, and the instructions are poorly translated. Because the mounting holes are under the sloped sides of the cone, it was hard to insert and tighten the fasteners. Also laying out the holes was an adventure, as no template is provided (later realized I could use the gasket as a template). Assembly is of course self explanatory, so instead of instructions, all that was really needed was a template. I would definitely buy this item again.

This product came on time and was just as I expected. It does an excellent job. I give it a 5 star rating. It will save a lot of. time cleaning filters in my vacuum cleaner. and keep the dust and chips all in a bucket. I strongly recommend this for all. people working with lathe Or other woodworking tools. I show up as spotless and. I am not forever creating filters in my vacuum cleaner. This is a great product.

This unit works very well for course dust, but not as well for finer dust(ie sanding). Works quite well with my table saw and planer, not as well with my mitre saw(but mitre saws are notorious for having poor dust collection. Doesn’t catch much at all with the sander. But it does definitely save money on vacuum bags. Honestly, at this price point I wasn’t expecting miracles. Just make sure you double up your 5 gallon pail or you’ll collapse the sides from the vacuum.

Do NOT buy this product. It does not perform as advertised.After assembling as directed, ensuring all connections had no leaks, and turning it on, it collects the media and other stuff from the floor but does not separate dust.Dust ends up going down into the bucket with the media.Simply does not do what promises.Waste of money and time.If there was anything below 1 star, would’ve been my pick.

Overall works great and I believe is a good value. The plastic is sturdy and durable. I've been using for about 6 months now and it does a good job keeping dust and dirt out of my shop vac.One issue is that I found it difficult to find fittings that fit the unit which connect to a standard shop vac hose. I ended up using some PVC fittings and duct tape. The duct tape works surprisingly well. You could honestly get away without an adapter at all and just use duct tape.I was originally concerned that the mounting bolts would not be a strong or tight enough fit to a standard 5 gallon bucket lid but it's held up just fine.

Ports are too big to slide a 2 1/2” (2 1/4”) hose over, and too small to slide a 1 7/8” hose into.Works relatively well otherwise.

I use this with my shopvac and saws/sanders to take some of the load off my vacuum's filter and save money/waste in terms of replacement filter bags. I set it up with a cheap plastic bucket and lid from a big-box hardware store and it works great. One thing to keep in mind, though, is you really need 2 buckets - with just one, the suction from my shopvac causes the walls of the bucket to collapse inwards (you're not losing ANY suction with this unit, trust me), but if you put the bucket inside a second identical one, the combined thickness is enough to keep the walls of the inner bucket from deforming. You'll also need a second pipe - your shopvac hose connects to the top of the unit, but you also need a second hose to run out to your tool. Installation was pretty simple. Use the included gasket's inner ring to mark a hole in the lid of your bucket and where to drill the 4 bolt-holes. Use a carpet knife or Dremel to cut out the small hole in the lid, put the gasket in place, then bolt the cyclone unit to the top of the lid (nuts/bolts/washers are included). That's it, hook up your hoses and you're good to go. For storage, you can flip the lid upside down so the cyclone unit is protected inside the bucket. It doesn't remove 100 per cent of the dust and some will definitely reach your vacuum and its filter, but it's a fraction of what would end up in the vacuum otherwise. It's amazing how much dust accumulates in the bottom of the bucket, and then you just empty it out. This dust-cyclone cost me about as much as a 3-pack of vacuum filters, so it paid for itself in saved filters within a couple of weeks. On a side-note, the seller was GREAT - there was a tear in the gasket when it arrived, and the vendor shipped me a replacement the next day, fantastic customer service. Highly recommend both the product and the seller.

Wir haben eine Hausstaubsauganlage (mit ordentlich ‚Druck‘ ;) ) welche um die Werkelgarage erweitert werden sollte. Je eine dünne Platte alubeschichtetes MDF auf und unter den Deckel eines stabilen 60l Blechfasses geschraubt/-klebt, darauf den Abscheider. Funktioniert wunderbar. Hatte den großen Behälter der HSsa geleert und MDF gefräst - kein Staub in der HSsa, alles im 60l Fass. Etwas größere Späne von Kapp- u. Kreissäge ebenfalls. Hatte anfangs Bedenken ob die beiden Platten am Deckelfass nicht zuviel des Guten waren, da der Ausgang für die Späne nicht senkrecht nach unten zeigt, sondern eher schief (die Windung des Zyklons läuft sozusagen aus) - klappt aber trotzdem super, musste die rund 1cm dicke Platte nicht zyklonförmig raspeln ;) - brauchte allerdings andere Schrauben, da die mitgelieferten eher für dünne Deckel gedacht sind…

Super petit cyclone, sitôt reçu, monté sur poubelle 100l couplé à l'aspirateur, forte dépression, les copeaux de boissont bien aspirés et se retrouvent dans la poubelle et non dans le sac de l'aspi.A TOUS LES BRICOLEURS je recommande ce cyclone facile d'adaptation et efficace.
