I needed an alternator to mate up with a small gas engine to make a portable 12vdc source. With the one wire set-up, this alternator was perfect. Full power output as advertised. Could not find a similar model locally that was anywhere near this price. Build looks good, no loose bolts or terminals. Very pleased with this purchase, would recommend highly.

These dB electric alternators all seem to be working at present will know better in a few years good value and easy to hook up on old equipment where old wiring, voltage regulator, or alternators are a problem. Have 5 in service and going to order a 24 volt for my pay loader.

I bought it for a Massey Ferguson 1010 diesel tractor to replace the generator and voltage regulator, which seemed woefully underpowered. Took a bit of modification of the mounting brackets to make it fit, but the one wire system works perfectly and I can now blow snow for hours on end with all lights running and still have a fully charged battery. Seems like really good value.

Tried to find an alternator at local auto store and they wanted over 100, found this unit and arrived fast !Had to swap the pulley (8groove polybelt) from my unit over to the new unit (easy enough with a socket and breaker bar)Only prob was location of wiring was toward engine block making the install finicky. Some of the generic 3 wire alternators have wire connections in different locations.Working well - delivering 14.6v and charging strong - a couple of months in nowMarine application, Cummins 6b, mounted on the exhaust side

Works well. Seems to produce around 15 amps at the low RPMs my boat’s engine runs at. It’s sufficient to charge the batteries after an hour or so of motoring. Haven’t had any issues with the alternator.

Had to swap out the alternator on my 12v converted Ford NAA. This worked great. Swapped the pulley, bolted right in, and worked right away. My battery no longer drains and my ammeter actually shows the alternator charging after I start the tractor. Simple fix. Not too expensive. Its a 10SI alternator. It worked.
