This 100 Amp Alternator DID NOT work right out of the box. I took it to an Alternator Repair shop for testing. They said that it did not work , and return it. It was JUNK. China builds junk rotors!

This alternator works very well, only one minor adjustment required. Due to the chrome I had to trim .020” off of the bottom bracket, but then all was good. Even with my dual fans running it still charges at 14.2 volts. Plenty of amps even at idle!

Delivers 14v constantly and helps keep the battery charged while operating a winch.Only issue I've had is it's on a trail/mud truck and the front bearing doesn't hold up to the water and grime. I had to replace it after the fourth time out. It's kind of a cheap bearing but replaced it with a quality bearing and haven't had a problem since.

It's a great alternator for the money. I even bought one as a spare to have laying around just in case. You can't find a better 110 amp (although mine was tested at 114) for the money. Looks great and just as nice as one double the price.Only problem I had was it is threaded and my bolt was a tiny bit larger. I just put the alternator in a drill press and took out the threaded groves. The bolt goes in now, and fits nice and tight. Highly recommend this alternator. Buy an extra as a spare!
