Used this to run a tesla coolant pump. Got a little warm at full speed but had no problems.

Super straight forward, worked like a charm.Running at 12v and ... I believe 3-5 amps. Haven't had a chance to test actual current draw and on stall, but so far so good.You can run a hall effect bldc motor on a non-hall driver, with some caveats:- not very good control, especially at low speeds- have to "jump start" the motor. Once turning on power, a little spin to start it running- inefficient, may have added heat in motor- may run backwards on start or stall
