I give my chicks smaller pellets and there is so much waste. I never had so much waste with other feeders. I tried this feeder because of the good reviews but is not working with smaller pellets. If anybody has any suggestions please let me know. I did everything like I suppose to do with putting it together.

The feeder is good for laying hens, or older broilers. We lost a few chicks because they climbed inside and the feed collapsed on them.

I put them into small plastic totes. It's saving feed and the chickens didn't have any issues figuring them out. I do wish the instructions were a little clearer.
