The frame is hollow. There are four cross supports (all hollow metal), providing good support at first, but held into place by one metal screw on either end of the support. It should be sturdy enough to hold the maximum amount wood which can fit on it; so long as I'm not too aggressive in placing wood on it, it should stay firm - time will tell. Still 5 stars as it is advertised as "decorative" so can't have expected to be a solid frame which stands up to heavy abuse.I recommend also buying a log carrier for ease of loading wood and reducing risk of wood falling out the sides.

I was scrolling Pinterest looking for blanket storage ideas that was not the typical wall hook or blanket ladder. I found the perfect thing - a log holder! I included the inspiration photo as well as the execution of it at home!First off - Great Price! I felt like this was one of the lower cost options and the design is very cute and stylish.Secondly - I don’t think the assembly could be any easier. “It’s so easy a cave man could do it”Third & Final - it’s a great quality and very sturdy. Obviously it doesn’t work to hard under the weight of a few blankets but if I had a wood stove I would purchase a second one for the log storage without an ounce of hesitation.So whether you’re inspired to use this as a blanket storage or for its intended purpose of logs - you can’t go wrong with the price and quality of this item.

I really like the look of this firewood rack and I was excited to put it together. Unfortunately, one of the connecting pieces was welded on crookedly on one of the U sections making it impossible to put the crossbar on it and I had to return it. Haven’t decided yet if I want to take a chance with ordering a second one. But, if it’s not defective, it’s a very attractive firewood rack.

So glad that I found this firewood holder with a simple and compact design - it fits nicely next to the fireplace. It’s easy to assemble and seems sturdy enough that it can hold a decent amount of logs for an entire week’s use.

Product is decent for the price. The piece that the top cross rod sits on was designed or built wrong, so the screw top has to show on the top surface, which is not as the pictures of the product show, so there is an issue there. But it isn’t a big deal for me.

Wanted a small firewood rack as our hearth isn’t that deep. Also didn’t want anything “frilly” - this one was nice and simple and the right size (and not too expensive)Came well packaged in additional amazon box. Inner box was a bit squashed but nothing critical.A couple of the parts were scratched up but as this is going to handle firewood and get further scratches probably, I wasn’t too worriedTried to assemble it the way the instructions stated (with the screws from the underneath) but they just weren’t long enough, so opted to put them in from the top. They have color matched (black) heads so they don’t show.The rest of the assembly was easy. Screwing in it gets harder before it gets easier but they all went in. The curved base I thought was the wrong curve but the screws hold it down and now it’s all together it seems sturdy enough.Looks good and think it’ll last. For $35 cant really complain
