Hat leider nach ca 6 Monaten nicht mehr funktioniert. Ich habe ihn benutzt, um den Monitor meiner Freundin auf mein System umzuschalten, damit mir bei Bedarf ein weiterer Monitor für die Arbeit zur Verfügung steht.Bis dahin hat das Produkt seinen Zweck erfüllt. Die USB Schnittstellen habe ich nie getestet, da ich ihn lediglich für das Umschalten des Monitors brauchte.--Nachtrag--: Der Händler hat sich bei mir gemeldet und mir versichert, dass es sich leider um ein häufiges Problem in der älteren Version (welche ich damals gekauft hatte) handelt. Mir wurde eine Teststellung zugesandt, um das Gerät erneut zu bewerten. Mir wurde versichert, dass in der neuen Version dieses Problem nicht mehr vorhanden sei.Die ältere Version dieses Produktes ist nicht mehr erhältlich bei Amazon.Aufgrund der positiven Resonanz und der Tatsache, dass ich die neuere Version nun seit ca einem Jahr im einsatz habe (habe mir nachdem damals das Geld erstattet wurde die neuere Version gekauft) ohne dass Probleme auftraten habe ich das Produkt nun vorerst mit 5 Sternen bewertet. Sollte die Teststellung binnen der 2 Jährigen gesetzlichen Gewährleistung kaputt gehen, werde ich die Bewertung dementsprechend wieder korrigieren müssen.

Ich weiß nicht woran es liegt ... ich habe 2 PC und 1 Monitor mit dem Switch verbunden. Das Bild von PC 1 wird nicht richtig auf dem Monitor dargestellt. Man sieht das eingestellte Hintergrundbild aber nicht die Icons und nicht die Taskleiste. Schalte ich auf PC 2 verschwindet das Bild alle paar Sekunden und der Bildschirm wird schwarz. So nicht zu gebrauchen.Ansonsten macht das Gerät und die beigelegten DP-Kabel einen wertigen Eindruck. Die USB-Kabel sind etwas fipsig.

This works a treat. I use one monitor to two workstations, but now I can go one better and use one keyboard and one mouse for both workstations as well. The space I can save is amazing once you use this. Now just to clarify, I operate two systems at the same time, one workstation is a actually a ‘workstation’, as in a box with all my drives in, my RAM, CPU etc. The other workstation is a Lenovo Idea-centre where it has an integral monitor so it’s what they call an ‘all in one’ system, but with one downside. The monitor is dreadful as all the colours are wrong, it’s too bright even on the lowest level and that’s what I like to work on, the lowest level. Then I’m not disappointed when I print, it all turns out nice and bright colours. Enough of that, but this KVM switch means I can bypass that dreadful monitor and use the one exceptional monitor where all the colours are great. So even though my workflow crosses between two systems, there is no difference in my working as it feels like I’m working on one system. There is the smallest lag of a few seconds before the screen appears once you switch over between systems but that is to be expected, and I can live with that. The KVM box is sturdy, and not heavy but has a substantial weight as it’s made of metal. You get all the leads you would possibly need, with the exception of those that you will need if you have an old system with no display-ports. That’s me…using old systems. Now this takes display-port connections so I have had to get hold of a few extra bits to convert HDMI to display-port as I have to admit my PCs are a tad old in I.T. terms. Hey it’s all been worth it as this little bit of kit does the job great. Five stars for the convenience, design, and performance.

Mediante este switch podemos controlar 2 PCs con un mismo teclado y ratón, compartiendo entre ellos el mismo monitor. Muy útil si trabajas con 2 PCs y no tienes espacio en el escritorio para un segundo monitor, o simplemente no tienes presupuesto para comprar otro. Esta es una solución bastante asequible.El switch es robusto, con la carcasa metálica, y bastante compacto. Mide 11 cm de largo, 6.3 cm de profundidad y 2'3 cm de altura aproximadamente.En el frontal tiene el botón para alternar entre los 2 ordenadores, y los USB de entrada, donde podemos pinchar el teclado y el ratón o cualquier otro dispositivo USB que quedamos compartir entre ambos PCs. Son puertos USB 2.0.En la parte trasera están los puertos Display Port, tanto los de entrada a los que llega el cable de cada PC, como el de salida que va al monitor compartido y los puertos mini USB que van a los puertos USB de cada ordenador.Soporta resoluciones máximas de 4K a 60 Hz, y el cambio de un PC a otro es rápido.Junto con el switch se incluyen unas patas adhesivas de silicona que hay que pegar, y 2 juegos de cables Display Port a Display Port y micro USB a USB, así como un cable de alimentación micro USB.Funciona como se esperaba, tan sólo hubiera cambiado la disposición del conector micro USB de alimentación y lo hubiera puesto en un lateral, o por detrás. Si usas teclados y ratones inalámbricos con un adaptador USB, la verdad es que tener el cable de alimentación en el frontal, molesta un poco a la hora de tener ordenado el escritorio.
