This unit works great so far. It has an excellent display that can be seen in the dark and in bright light. The only beef is with the temperature probe. Its just a nub at the end of a soft wire. It's difficult to insert and keep in the soil. I had to tie it to a nail.

I used to switch on and off a fan on a heat exchanger. Works great. I like that you can change the trigger for heating or cooling. It has a ton of features that are helpful getting the settings just right!

I use this as a duct fan control to help exhaust humid air from my dryer. I have a 20ft run dryer vent that if the airflow doesn't push enough will leave humid air in the vent which will corrode over time.Only issue is that the humidity alarm (maxes out at 99%) still trips sometimes and I still have to silence it. Wish I could set a higher limit but that is a software problem.

Great tank temperature controller! The screen made it easy to read the temperatures and the instructions were easy to follow. The calibration allowed it to be very accurate, down to the .1 F

Need to do correction on temperature all the time up to 9 deg. difference, this device is not for the described usage at all. If you need a temperature control device DON'T use this one. I wish I didn't bought them so early before I needed them, I could of return them. Only good thing is the display is easy to read.

First impression of the STC-1000 Non-WiFi Temperature Controller is that it is a solid unit and should last. The configuration of controller is very easy once you're clear on the different parameters. I was up and running within 10 minutes of taking the controller out of the box.The controller is working fine turning on and off the heater to the aquarium. I've noticed that the temperature shown on the controller is 1 degree F hotter compared to 2 other thermometer used as reference. The controller allows you to calibrate and set offset for the temperature difference. Again, the controller seems solidly built and looks like it will last, but I've only had this controller for a few days so I will reserve judgement on the durability and sturdiness.Overall, the controller is reasonable in price, looks well built, and will give you peace of mind.
