I hesitated to buy these because I wasn't sure they were worth the money but I'm THRILLED with them! They are incredible! I am definitely going to buy more!! They're my new favorite pencils for sketching. The matte quality really is a game-changer and adds depth to artwork without the glare! Very happy that I bought them and I recommend that you try them too! :)

Nice set, probably more grades than I need but for the extra cost it made sense. I don’t know how they do it but there is hardly any reflection from the graphit. Produces a much more pleasant viewing experience.

I have used Faber-Castell Pitt Graphite Matte Pencil for some time and I am never disappointed! This is not to say regular graphite pencils are not good, they are. However, the Faber-Castell Pitt Graphite Matte Pencil are MATTE which means they don't leave a shine on your paper especially if you need to make a few layers for intensity. Worth giving these a try.

Pencils are very hard and do not blend as easily as Staedtler. Also, the matte finish is nice but also nowhere near as dark as other brands with these values. Overall good pencils with smooth application but weren't exactly what I expected.

Beginner here, but loving and noticing the difference between these and regular pencils. Played with different pencils, these are first specific for drawings, and you can tell the difference when the light hits the darken areas (shadows) that there are no shiny reflections, which is good. Would buy again.
