Since the early days of Field Notes we have been searching for just the right way to create an edition celebrating America’s National Parks. When we saw the work of the artists of The Fifty-Nine Parks Print Series, we knew exactly what to do. We’re proud to present this collaboration and invite you to check out four 3-Packs and millions of acres of American treasure. We’re donating five percent of purchases to the National Parks Service, to help preserve and expand on our nation’s best idea.
Gorgeous illustrations of iconic National Parks are featured on the covers of these Memo Books, which are grouped into 3-Packs that make up the “National Parks” Series. Choose your favorite 3-Pack, or collect them all.

SIX PACKS, EIGHTEEN PARKS
Each 3-Pack in the National Parks Series includes 3 different national parks. Inside each book you will find 48 pages of graph paper along with a brief history of the park on the inside back cover.
Series A 3-Pack includes Yosemite National Park and Zion National Park, both by Dan McCarthy, and Acadia National Park by Telegramme Paper Co.
Series B 3-Pack includes Grand Canyon National Park by DKNG Studios, Joshua Tree Nat’l Park by The Little Friends of Printmaking, Mount Rainier Nat’l Park by Glenn Thomas.
Series C 3-Pack includes Rocky Mountain National Park by Rory Kurtz, Great Smoky Mountains National Park by Chris Turnham, Yellowstone National Park by Brave the Woods.
Series D 3-Pack includes Grand Teton National Park by Eric Nyffeler, Arches National Park by Nicolas Delort, Sequoia National Park by Glenn Thomas.
Series E 3-Pack includes Denali National Park by Dan McCarthy, Cuyahoga Valley National Park by Kim Smith, and Olympic National Park by Daniel Danger.
Series F 3-Pack includes Glacier National Park by Laurent Durieux, Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park by Vincent Roché, and Everglades National Park by Mike Tabie.

Graph Paper
Inside each book you'll find 48 pages of our popular graph paper. It's a bright white 60# text weight paper with a fine, 1-color application of “Green Earth” soy-based Toyo ink for the grid.
Our National Treasures
These Field Notes are a tribute to places in the U.S.A. that can only truly be appreciated in person. Please visit, enjoy, and support our National Parks. We hope when you visit your favorite national park, you’ll bring along your new favorite memo book, get it stamped, and tag us in your photos.
We anticipate infinite e-mails and social media posts asking about all the other parks… don’t think for a moment we don’t love ’em all, but we had to start somewhere!
A Step Backwards
The covers are printed using a custom, five-color process that started with under-printing white ink. This allowed us to incorporate the color of the paper into the artwork.
Each book features a brief history of the park on its inside back cover, a spot for the official National Park Passport Stamp on the inside front cover, and 48 pages of Finch Opaque 60#T marked with a 3/16" graph to record your plans, routes, notes, and memories.
- Cover: A variety of French 100#C papers, some with a few burly hits of opaque white under process cyan, magenta, yellow, and black soy-based Toyo inks.
- Innards: Finch Paper Opaque Smooth 60#T “Bright White,” with a fine, 1-color application of “Green Earth” soy-based Toyo ink.
- Graph grid: 3/16" × 3/16" (4.7mm × 4.7mm).
- Memo book dimensions are 3-1/2" × 5-1/2" (89mm × 140mm).

These little notebooks are perfect for note taking. Their size makes them perfect for every day carry and jotting down ideas/thoughts before you forget them. I really like the different designs. It’s like having a tiny collectible piece of art in your pocket.

Soooo expensive for 3 notebooks. Still, it's nice to have a good notebook in which to write. The cover designs and colours are beautiful.100% recommend.

I've bought so many notebooks/journals over the years, but these little Field Notes are a favourite.They're not good with fountain pen ink - not as bad as Moleskine, but I prefer using the PaperMate Ink Joy gel pens with them, anyway, That's why I gave a 4/5 stars. If they upgraded the paper to fountain pen friendly, they'd definitely get a 5/5.What I do with them before I use these notebooks, is put a strip of Scotch Tape (the regular clear tape) down the outside spine of each one. They have a tendency to wear notably after a lot of use and the clear tape just eliminates that and gives it a bit of added strength.I've also got my Dad, a P. Eng., onto these notebooks now and he really likes them for their size and pocket-ability. I love them for the same reason, but they're just so light and handy to keep with you to write down absolutely anything.I've had them for a number of years and have bought six lately just to have them on hand.

The size of these booklets is just perfect. I travel a lot and spend ablot of time in production plants. This notebook is great it fits just fine in any pocket. Also the shade of the paper is creamy, more than bright white, which is more appealing to the eye. The quality of the paper is very good, when writing with a pen, the ink absorbs and dries almost instantly, it does not smudge as some other papers cause inj to smudge.
