Really easy to put together my baby chicks are absolutely loving it and they're up above the poop which is important

Hard to put together. You can't use the small tool given in the package. You will need a drilll, but once you get it together it is very sturdy

Pros: It is cute and utilizes smooth finished woodCons: Dowels are too narrow, too close together, and too round when they should be flat for easy perching. Chick reference sources I read, said to introduce a short perch at 2-3 weeks. At 2 weeks, my dozen chicks weren't interested and at 3 weeks, they were too big to use it for the above listed reasons. So it looks cute, and I was excited to try it, buy since I purchased it early in my preparation, I was unable to return it because Amazon return windows are much quicker than in the past years.

Easy to clean. Sized for newborns. It seems small for two week olds. I haven’t seen them use the mirrors which are on the inside of the perch.

All of my years of putting together IKEA furniture stood me in good stead while I put this contraption together. It came with its own screws (one extra) and an Allen key. Relatively easy to put together, took me maybe 10 minutes tops I put it in my girls Coop today, we will see if they roost on it tonight. They are not little Chickies anymore, but they are on the small side so I think it should work.
