It’s reallt worth it, especially for the price. I bought an original GCC after this and the only difference is the Z button. On this controller it’s a simple button whereas on the original it’s sort of spring loaded. The only complaints I have for this is the low quality screws that stripped after trying to fix (my second gripe with the controller) the squishy up button on the D-pad. Other than that it’s a great, faithful, alternative to an official controller.

This is definitely not an original Gamecube Controller. But to me it feels very similar. The buttons and joysticks are, in my opinion, slightly stiffer than that of the original Gamecube Controllers. The Z button offers the greatest difference in terms of tactile feel. Being much harder with a much sharper "click" than the original. But none of these elements are deal breakers. The controller still works amazingly. Plugs right in and works right away. I currently have the thing going on a Wii unit and I'm playing brawl like the old days as if on an original Gamecube Controller. Seriously, if you need a gamecube controller for whatever reason, this is definitely a great pickup. A bit more peace of mind than shelling out an almost equivalent amount of money for a used original gamecube controller that may be broken or heavily used.Note that I also think the transparent colours (I got the white transparent one) is also a plus. Looks great as I've always liked the transparent look on Nintendo products.

Definitely a Third Party Controller but an amazing one for the price. A clicky Z button and stiff Y and X but other than that, Both of my controllers (Clear white and Clear Purple) both look, and work perfectly. The feel is where we lose one star, its near perfect. BUY THIS IF YOU NEED A CHEAP GAMECUBE CONTROLLER
