Safety & Operating Tips:

  1. Always use appropriate PPE (safety glasses, ear protection, dust mask).
  2. Securely mount the router before starting.
  3. Ensure the cutting tool is properly installed and tightened.
  4. Adjust the depth of cut based on the task, starting shallow and increasing as needed.
  5. Use both hands to control and guide the router.
  6. Let the tool work at a steady pace, avoiding force.
  7. Keep the power cord away from the cutting area.
  8. Rout counterclockwise with the trimmer router in handheld mode.
  9. Wait for the router bit to stop before setting the tool down.

I had some reservations on this router - given that it is not variable speed. I tried it with a cheap set of 1/4" shank router bits also purchased on Amazon and was pleasantly surprised. If you take your time, control the feed rate and take smaller cuts per pass, this thing can work wonderful. I've tried it on several types of hard and softwoods and it always cuts through like a dream. The only issue: the adjustment knob on the plastic base is kind of flimsy, but for the price, I guess it's something I can handle.

Schon lange wollte ich so einen kleinen Router haben. Meine Oberfräse war mir für die Kanten immer etwas sperrig. Allerdings waren mit die kleinen immer etwas teuer.Nun kommt der Genmitsu zu einem günstigen Preis daher. Etwas skeptisch habe ich ihn bestellt.Als er ankommt bin sehr positiv überrascht. Tolle Haptik, klein und handlich, alles dabei, was man braucht.Natürlich hatte ich keine passenden Fräser dabei. Die musste ich erst noch bestellen. Aber dann ging es gleich los.Der Genmitsu lässt sich sehr gut führen. Es ist alles dabei, was man für die Absaugung braucht. Die Fräser sind mit den beiden mitgelieferten Schraubenschlüsseln schnell montiert.Die Lautstärke der Maschine würde ich als üblich und zu erwarten bezeichnen.Ansonsten kann man mit der Maschine sehr gut arbeiten. Ich bin sehr zufrieden,.

Useless, with a useless collet with bit slipping. Replaced collet. Started vibrating enough to loosen itself in the plunge attachment, then dived headfirst into the workpiece with a 3/4 straight bit, and bent the shaft, and is completely unusable now.Get something better.

En mycket bra fräs som verkligen är värd pengarna. Motorn är utrustad med mjukstart och är stark för att vara en kantfräs. Fin kvalitet rakt igenom. Det enda som är synd är att den levereras med 6,35 millimeters hylsa. Har man 8 mm frässtål måste man köpa till en hylsa som passar.

Ich habe das Gerät in einer Genmitsu Fräsmaschine eingebaut. Anfangs hat alles super funktioniert. Leider ist das Lager der Maschine nach einer Woche durchgebrannt und die Maschine musste repariert werden. Ersatzteile können nicht direkt nachbestellt werden, somit wurde das Gerät ausgetauscht.
