Used it on only one camping trip, was amazing, easy to push, water tasted great, no sickness so it did its job. Will review an update as i use it thru out the summer.

This works very well for purifying water and is easy to use! I would recommend a must for hikers, campers and anyone else exploring the outdoors.

I was in Yellowstone, and I asked the driver/guide to stop at the Yellowstone Lake, so that I could try this GRAYL purifier. I got water directly from the lake, pressed down on the plunger, and ... drank it... It tasted very good. This is a great product for hikers, fishermen, hunters, etc. I just wish the capacity was a big larger, but it does work very well. I sometimes use it in my apartment, when I get tired of the tap water's taste!

The idea that it can purified water on the go sounds great except that the bottle is heavy and awkward to use. You need to have strength to press down and after each use it becomes harder to press down because the filter is getting “clogged”. I would not recommend this if plan to use while travelling due to its weight and dependability. There are other great filtration systems. I just returned from a 4weeks trip and missed the “ last returned date” … disappointed.

Can't beat the security of knowing your water has not only been filtered but has also been purified. I think allot of people believe that filtering some creek or lake water through a bandana will make the water safe to drink but this method only removes the particulate not bacteria, heavy metals like lead, arsenic, zinc etc. nor pesticides that may have leached into the water supply. Why take chances when there is a relatively simple solution and inexpensive solution?

It worked well, I will be honest, I didn't expect the "dirty" flavor to be left behind but the water was clean... and I didn't get sick after three says of using it... so I feel it did its job as advertised... I am happy with it.

Great product, use it every day even with tap water. Makes it taste so much better. Highly recommend. Worth the money.

I used it while on bike tour. It's been fantastic! I drank water for locations where I would normay get sick gaurenteed but didn't and it meant I didn't have to keep buying plastic bottles! I really like how quickly I could filter the water so I actually used it whereas before I would either out it off or just buy a bottle instead of filtering it which took forever.
