The load rating of these black magnetic hooks is 110 lbs. This rating is with the magnetic hook in the vertical position. An example is one attached to the underside of a shelf in a metal locker.I see so many reviews that reduce the number of stars because the magnetic hooks won't hold the stated weight on a wall. The weight rating is not for wall applications.Now for the review. I received my order of 10 black magnetic hooks. Seven of the hooks are fine. Two don't tighten up and bottom out. One only engages a few threads and is very loose. After a couple of backward twists it can be pulled out. I will repair the three and mark them for light weight only.

I am using these to hang/display mugs on the side of my fridge. They work great. The hooks are just right for accommodating the handles of the mugs.

I bought a set of 25 lb hooks for a 1 lb fire blanket, and they didn't hold it at all. I tried the 35 lb ones and they sort of hold it. It just kept sliding down the side of the fridge, so I had to add a piece of tape to keep it in place. You'd think 1/35th of what it was promoted to hold wouldn't be a problem - but it was.

Use these in my kitchen and bathroom to utilize storage space. Have a lot of metal appliances and cabinets and these make it possible to hang utensils and appliances where they are needed. I have metal doors on the house and these hooks allow me to hang needed items on the backs of the doors. Makes it simple to hang decorations on those same doors. Because of the amount of weight they hold I use these in my storage sheds to hang tools and other items up to 100 pounds. They work at any height, so I am able to utilize a lot of upper/overhead space that not be used before. My storage sheds have metal frames along all the walls and magnets don't require tools and drilling to install. Just stick one where you need it and you have instant storage.
